How do you introduce yourself?

Hi, I’m Faith Majors, a speaker, writer and lupus advocate who believes our greatest challenges can become our greatest purpose. I’m passionate about travel, meaningful connections, giving back and encouraging others never to give up on themselves.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

Like everyone, my life has included seasons of tremendous loss and unexpected challenges. Losing my sister in a tragic car accident changed my family forever. More recently, being diagnosed with lupus completely changed my life. Learning to navigate an autoimmune disease meant advocating for myself, searching for answers, rebuilding my health, and learning to give myself grace on the difficult days. Those experiences have made me stronger, more compassionate, and incredibly grateful for every opportunity I have today. They have also inspired my passion for encouraging others who may be facing challenges of their own.

What do people usually not know about you?

Because much of my life has been in the public eye, people often know of me before they truly know me. What usually surprises them is that I’m very down-to-earth, warm, compassionate, adventurous, and I love to laugh. I genuinely enjoy getting to know people, hearing their stories, and making them feel welcome. Meaningful connections are a gift, and something I truly value.

What sets you apart from others?

I try to live authentically. My life isn’t just a highlight reel. Like everyone else, I’ve experienced setbacks, disappointment, health struggles, and moments of uncertainty. What matters most to me is continuing to grow, learning from every experience, and having the courage to keep stepping outside my comfort zone. I believe we never stop evolving, and every challenge can become an opportunity to become stronger, wiser, and even more compassionate.

What are your upcoming major events ?

I’m honored to be featured on the cover of Art of Connection magazine this July sharing my lupus journey. This summer includes international travel and new writing projects, along with exciting opportunities to continue sharing stories that inspire others.

I’m also deeply involved with the Lupus Research Alliance. In October, I’ll be working alongside the CEO and Senior Directors of Giving for a fundraiser in Houston and in November I’m honored to serve as Co-Chair of the Lupus Research Alliance Gala in New York City. Supporting lupus research is deeply personal to me, and it’s a privilege to help raise awareness and hope for others living with autoimmune disease.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Never give up! Your current chapter doesn’t have to define the rest of your story. If you’re going through a difficult time, keep going, keep going, keep going. I’ve had moments so I wanted to quit, One life felt so overwhelming, and I couldn’t see what was ahead. Looking back, I’m so grateful I didn’t give up. Healing isn’t always linear, and growth isn’t always easy, but every step forward matters.

Believe in yourself, and be patient with yourself. Sometimes the greatest blessings are waiting on the other side on the challenges, we never thought we’d overcome.
