Here is the Q&A session we had with Fame Holiday.

Fame Holiday As Cover Story Interview – October 2026 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

I’m Fame Holiday, an artist from Mississauga, a husband, and a father. My faith is the foundation of who I am and everything I’m building. My mission is to spread the gospel, and I believe my purpose is to do that through the gift the Lord gave me—my music. At the same time, I’m sharing my personal testimony and staying authentic to who I am. I’m still growing, still learning, and becoming the man God has called me to be. I want my music to reflect that journey honestly—the struggles, the lessons, and what God is doing in my life—and ultimately point people toward Jesus.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

My struggles started early. My mom had me at 16 and raised three kids as a single mother. Growing up, I witnessed her go through abusive relationships while working constantly to provide for us. Seeing what she endured was hard, but it also gave me a deep appreciation for her sacrifices. I also grew up without knowing my dad and met him for the first time when I was 23.

I’ve also battled depression, struggled with lust, and spent years idolizing rappers while trying to figure out my own identity. I was looking up to other people without fully understanding who God created me to be.

As a secular artist, I had built a name and an audience. Giving my life to God meant changing my direction and, in many ways, starting over with my audience. It challenged me to trust God with something I had spent years building.

Becoming a husband and a father has stretched me too. It’s made me face areas where I still need to grow and learn how to show up for my family while pursuing my purpose. Through it all, God has been teaching me to find my identity in Him. That journey is part of the testimony I share through my music.

What do people usually not know about you?

People usually don’t know that I’m also a carpenter and have four dogs. I’m really into fashion that represents my faith, and whenever I get some downtime, I enjoy playing video games.

What sets you apart from?

Earlier in my journey, I was chasing fame, money, popularity, the house, and the car. There’s nothing wrong with wanting those things, but that’s no longer what I’m chasing. My goal is to become more like Christ and plant seeds through everything I do—my music, my fashion, and how I live. I want to reach the youth and people struggling in darkness, show them the hope I’ve found in Jesus, and remind them that their lives have purpose. That’s what drives me in this industry and in life.

What are your upcoming major events?

My new album, Before I Knew Him, drops October 30, 2026. It’s a personal project that reflects my journey and my growth in faith.

I’m also introducing my clothing brand, Faith Through Design, with pieces like “Born With Purpose” and “Anointed Since Birth.” The message behind the brand is that God has given each of us gifts, and He wants us to use them to build together, lift each other up, and grow His Kingdom.

I’m also planning a Canadian tour for early 2027. I love performing live and connecting with people in real time. Community is important to me, so I’m excited to bring people together through music, share my faith, and build meaningful connections along the way.

What expert advice would you like to give?

My advice to an artist is to make sure you’re doing music because you love it. That love will keep you going when the results aren’t coming. Success doesn’t happen overnight—it takes sacrifice, discipline, and hard work. Believe in yourself, stay open-minded, be willing to learn, and stay consistent.

My advice to anyone, whether you’re an artist or not, is to build a personal relationship with the Lord. Put God first and allow Him to guide you. Following Him can take you outside your comfort zone but trust Him through that process. Sometimes He’s breaking you out of your shell to help you become the person He created you to be. For me, nothing this world offers matters more than that relationship.
