Isabella Olson As Cover Story Interview – October 2026 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
Hi, I’m Isabella Olson! I’m from Austin, Texas, and I’m currently studying marketing at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Outside of school and work, I enjoy traveling, playing pickleball, photography, and spending time with my friends and family. I founded SocialByIsabella.co while pursuing my degree, which has been a blessing. My faith is close to my heart. I’m grateful for the people in my life and excited to see what’s ahead.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Learning to be patient with myself has been a challenge at times. I get excited about my ideas and want to do so much, but I’m learning that everything takes time. Balancing college, work, and personal goals has taught me to take things one step at a time and appreciate the progress along the way. I’m thankful I can turn to God for guidance and trust Him as I grow.
What do people usually not know about you?
I would love to have a podcast someday! I’d want it to feel like sitting down with a friend, talking about faith, everyday life, and the things we’re learning as we go. I’d love to invite people from different backgrounds to share their stories, too. There are so many people I’d enjoy learning from, and I think those conversations could be both fun and encouraging.
What sets you apart from others?
I think I see light in places where it can be easy to overlook it. When something goes wrong, my mind naturally goes to what we can do, what might still be possible, and how I can help. My faith has a lot to do with that. Being close to God gives me hope, and I want that to come through in the way I treat people.
I try to meet others with warmth, be thoughtful with my words, and bring a sense of calm to difficult situations. I can be cheerful and hopeful while still thinking carefully and taking my responsibilities seriously. I pay attention, ask questions, and look for solutions. More than anything, I hope people leave an interaction with me feeling encouraged, cared for, and a little more hopeful themselves.
What are your upcoming major events?
One project I’m especially excited about is the For The Good Student Mentorship Program at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where I serve as Associate Director of Marketing and Communications. We recently launched our chapter, and I’m looking forward to our upcoming meetings and helping more students get connected. Having people who can offer wisdom and encouragement makes such a difference, especially during college, so it’s meaningful to be part of creating those opportunities for others.
What expert advice would you like to give?
I’m still learning, but one thing I would encourage others to do is take the first step, even if they feel nervous. Send the message, introduce yourself, or ask about the opportunity. You don’t have to have every answer before you begin, but you do have to be willing to learn and follow through. I also think kindness and gratitude matter so much. Thank the people who help you, make time for others, and stay true to what matters to you as new opportunities come your way.
