How do you introduce yourself?

Hi, I’m Dawn Curry—a compliance and reporting professional by career, a worship leader by calling, and an organizer at heart. I have an MBA and over the years I’ve developed a passion for turning data into meaningful insights, leading people, and creating experiences that bring communities together. Whether I’m analyzing metrics, leading worship, planning an event, or mentoring others, I love helping people move from where they are to where they want to be.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

Like many people, my journey has included seasons of uncertainty, disappointment, and having to reinvent myself. I’ve navigated personal and professional challenges that tested my resilience and faith. One of my biggest lessons has been learning how to persevere when the path isn’t clear and trusting that growth often happens during life’s most uncomfortable seasons. Those experiences taught me discipline, empathy, and the importance of staying grounded in purpose.

What do people usually not know about you?

People are often surprised to learn how much I enjoy building systems, developing people, and creating programs behind the scenes. While many know me as a singer and worship leader, I genuinely love strategy, leadership development, event planning, and helping others unlock their potential. I can spend one day analyzing metrics and the next day organizing an event or coaching someone toward their goals—and I enjoy both equally.

What sets you apart from others?

I have a unique ability to blend analytical thinking with creativity and compassion. It’s not every day you meet someone who can discuss compliance metrics, lead worship, organize a large event, and inspire people to grow—all in the same week. I believe my combination of business expertise, leadership experience, faith, and people-centered approach allows me to connect with a wide variety of individuals and create meaningful impact wherever I serve.

What are your upcoming major events?

I’m currently focused on expanding my leadership influence through teaching, mentoring, and people development opportunities. I’m also exploring ways to build a personal brand centered around personal leadership, discipline, faith, and growth. In addition, I continue serving through worship leadership and look forward to future speaking, training, and community-building opportunities that align with my purpose.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Success isn’t built on motivation—it’s built on consistency. Talent may open doors, but discipline keeps them open. Invest in yourself, stay teachable, and don’t underestimate the power of small daily actions. Whether you’re pursuing career growth, personal development, or spiritual growth, progress comes from showing up consistently, even when you don’t feel like it. The life you want is often on the other side of the habits you’re willing to build.
