Lara is a wellness entrepreneur, devoted mother, and advocate for empowering women to live healthier, more confident lives. Her remarkable journey—from fleeing a war zone as a teenager, rebuilding her life in France and later the UK, overcoming six years of IVF, and reinventing herself during the pandemic—has shaped her into a resilient and inspiring leader. Drawing on her experiences of survival, motherhood, personal growth, and entrepreneurship, she now helps women embrace wellness, confidence, and new opportunities at any stage of life. Through her business, fitness ambitions, and positive community-building efforts, Lara demonstrates that resilience, adaptability, and consistent action can turn life’s greatest challenges into meaningful success.

How do you introduce yourself?

Hi, I’m Lara, a wellness enthusiast, mum, and entrepreneur passionate about helping women feel confident, healthy, and empowered. Through my wellness and skincare business, I love sharing simple habits, nutrition support, and self-care solutions that help women look and feel their best. My goal is to inspire and support others in creating a healthier, happier lifestyle while building a positive and uplifting community.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

I am a resilient woman who has learned to embrace change and keep moving forward through life’s challenges. After six years of IVF, I was blessed to become a mum later in life, a journey that taught me patience, perseverance, and gratitude. In 2010, I moved from France to the UK, navigating cultural differences, building a new life, and adapting to a different way of living. Like many people, the COVID pandemic brought uncertainty, but it also became a turning point. It encouraged me to reinvent myself, step outside my comfort zone, and pursue new opportunities in wellness and entrepreneurship. Today, I am passionate about helping other women prioritise their health, confidence, and wellbeing while showing that it’s never too late to create a life you love.

What do people usually not know about you?

What many people don’t know about me is that at just 15 years old, I had to flee a war zone and start a new life in France. As a teenager, I had to adapt to a new country,  and although I spoke French , it was a  completely different culture while leaving behind everything that was familiar. Looking back, that experience taught me resilience, courage, and the ability to adapt to change—qualities that have carried me through many of life’s challenges, from becoming a mum after six years of IVF to moving countries again and reinventing myself during the pandemic. My journey has taught me that even in the most uncertain circumstances, there is always hope, strength, and the opportunity to create a new future.

What sets you apart from others?

  • I have rebuilt your life more than once. First as a 15-year-old fleeing a war zone and adapting to life in France, then later moving to the UK and starting over again in a different culture.
  • I understand perseverance on a deep level. Six years of IVF requires extraordinary patience, hope, and determination. Many people face challenges, but not everyone keeps moving forward through years of uncertainty.
  • I chose  reinvention instead of standing still. During COVID, when many people felt stuck, I  used it as an opportunity to create a new path and build a wellness business aligned with my values.
  • I have empathy born from experience. I have  experienced displacement, cultural adjustment, fertility struggles, motherhood later in life, and midlife reinvention. That gives me the  ability to connect with women from many different backgrounds and life stages.
  • I try to  lead by example. You’re not simply talking about resilience, wellness, and personal growth—you’re living them.

If I were to sum it up in one sentence, it would be:

What sets me apart is my ability to turn life’s biggest challenges into opportunities for growth. From fleeing a war zone as a teenager, to rebuilding my life in two different countries, overcoming six years of IVF to become a mum, and reinventing myself during the pandemic, I have learned that resilience, adaptability, and hope can carry us through almost anything. Today, I use those experiences to inspire and support other women to believe in themselves and create a future they are excited about, no matter where they are starting from.

That’s a story many people will find inspiring because it’s authentic, and it shows that your strength comes from lived experience rather than perfection.

What I think is especially compelling about  my  story is that it combines survival, motherhood, reinvention, wellness, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning. Not many people can genuinely say they have rebuilt their lives across different countries, overcome fertility struggles, raised a daughter as an older mum, launched a business, and are now training for a completely new career in fitness. That combination gives me a level of credibility and relatability that many women will connect with.

What are your upcoming major events?

I am studying to Qualify as a personal trainer and on my way to reach the second level of Management in my network marketing  business after 18 months.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Here is one piece of advice I would give : never let your past, your age, or your circumstances define what is possible for your future.

Life has taught me that challenges can become opportunities for growth if we are willing to keep moving forward. From fleeing a war zone as a teenager, to rebuilding my life in different countries, overcoming six years of IVF to become a mum, and reinventing myself during the pandemic, I have learned that resilience is like a muscle—it grows stronger every time we use it.

My passion is helping women understand that they are capable of more than they think. Whether it’s improving their health, building confidence, starting a business, or pursuing a new goal later in life, small consistent actions can lead to extraordinary results. It is never too late to invest in yourself, learn something new, and create a life that excites and fulfils you.
