Samantha “Sam” Bazile As Cover Story Interview – May 2026 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
Hi, I’m Samantha “Sam” Bazile, and I’ve spent over two decades in the aesthetics industry wearing a lot of hats—patient, esthetician, and industry partner. Through all of that, one thing became really clear to me: there’s a major education gap in aesthetics. My passion is creating space for honest conversations, real education, and helping people make informed decisions about their skin—without the noise, without the pressure, just the truth. I have a unique way of translating complex skin science into real, practical understanding so both providers and patients can achieve better outcomes. I am able to fuel my passion by working alongside other passionate providers as an Account Executive for ZO Skin Health. And to reach outside of skincare, I am the host and creator of The Skintrovert Podcast. Aside from my skin health passion, my greatest accomplishments are my husband, Larry, and my two boys, Landyn & Layton. Above all else, I hope I make them proud.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was being told that my voice didn’t carry weight. That because I’m not a doctor or don’t have a traditional degree, I wasn’t qualified to have an opinion or grow in this industry. But that experience really shaped me. It pushed me to deepen my knowledge, stand confidently in my experience, and ultimately advocate for the value of real-world expertise.
What do people usually not know about you?
I chronically over share so this is a hard one. But this who don’t know me personally, may not know that my husband and I have been together since we were 13 years old. And after all these years, he still gives me butterflies.
What sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is that I lead with education over sales. I believe people don’t want to be sold to—they want to understand. And I’ve built everything I do around creating that space for honest, real conversations in aesthetics.
What are your upcoming major events ?
Right now, a big focus for me is growing The Skintrovert as a platform for education and honest conversation in aesthetics. Alongside that, I’m continuing to host in-person workshops and partner events where we can bring that same level of education directly to providers and patients. Everything I’m working on is really centered around expanding access to credible, results-driven skin health information—both online and in real life.
What expert advice would you like to give?
My expert advice is to be very mindful of where you’re getting your skin health information. Social media can be a great tool for awareness, but it shouldn’t replace proper diagnosis or treatment. Your skin is your body’s largest organ, and it deserves to be treated with the same level of care and expertise as anything else. Seek out credible, trained professionals who can truly assess your skin and guide you based on science—not trends.
