Sarah Williams As Cover Story Interview – May 2026 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

I’m Sarah, a nurse practitioner, mum of two, travel entrepreneur, and online business mentor from North Wales. I’ve spent years working in healthcare, helping people in one way, but over the last couple of years I realised I also wanted to help people create more freedom in their lives too. Now I help busy mums and burnt-out professionals build additional income online through the travel and digital space, while showing that you don’t have to sacrifice your whole life for a career.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

One of my biggest struggles has been burnout. Working in healthcare is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be emotionally and mentally exhausting. Trying to balance long shifts, motherhood, finances, relationships, and building a future at the same time has definitely tested me. I’ve also struggled with anxiety and ADHD, which can make everyday life feel overwhelming at times. But honestly, those struggles are what pushed me to start looking for a different way to live, one with more freedom, flexibility, and happiness.

What do people usually not know about you?

People often see the confident version of me online, but what they don’t always realise is how much self-doubt I’ve had to work through behind the scenes. I’m actually very sensitive and overthink a lot. I also genuinely care deeply about helping people, I’m not just building a business for myself. A huge reason I share what I do online is because I know what it feels like to feel stuck, exhausted, and wanting more from life.

What sets you apart from others?

I think what sets me apart is that I’m very real. I don’t pretend life is perfect, and I don’t try to be someone I’m not online. I’m still working a demanding healthcare job while building my business, raising two boys, travelling, and figuring life out like everyone else. I think people connect with honesty more than perfection now. I also genuinely lead with helping people first rather than just “selling” to them.

What are your upcoming major events?

This year is really exciting for me because my business is growing internationally, and I’ll be attending major travel and entrepreneurship events abroad, including business conferences in Turkey and other international destinations. I’m also continuing to expand my online brand, grow my team globally, and focus on helping more women create income and freedom around their current lives rather than having to completely start over.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Don’t wait until you feel “ready” to start something new, because most people never feel ready. Confidence comes after action, not before it. Also, stop worrying so much about what other people think. The people judging you usually aren’t building anything themselves. If you’re unhappy, burnt out, or dreaming about a different life, start taking small steps toward it now, even if it’s messy and imperfect. Small consistent action changes lives.
