How do you introduce yourself?
Hi, my name is Marievel Martínez, but most people know me as Mari. I’m a content creator, entrepreneur, and a proud mom of two amazing boys. Alongside my husband, Harry, we build our family and life together while I pursue my creative projects and business, Mahatown. I love creating content that’s real, inspiring, and fun for families, showing that motherhood and ambition can thrive hand-in-hand.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Like many women, especially moms, I’ve faced moments where I felt overwhelmed trying to balance everything—family, work, and personal growth. Building something of your own isn’t easy, and there have been times of doubt, financial pressure, and feeling like I had to do it all on my own. My husband has been my rock through these times, supporting me and helping me find the strength to keep going. Those struggles shaped me and taught me resilience, patience, and teamwork.
What do people usually not know about you?
People often see the content, the smiles, and the “put together” version of me, but they don’t always see the hard work behind it. I’m very detail-oriented and thoughtful in everything I create. I also deeply value family time with my husband and kids—it’s the foundation that keeps me grounded and motivated.
What sets you apart from others?
I would say my authenticity and heart. I don’t try to be perfect—I try to be real. I share my journey as a mom, a woman, and an entrepreneur. I also incorporate my family into my story, showing how creativity, partnership, and love can coexist with ambition. Whether it’s content or events, I want people to feel something meaningful.
What are your upcoming major events?
Right now, I’m focused on growing Mahatown and creating more interactive experiences for kids and families. With my husband’s support, we’re also working on projects that highlight family, community, and creativity. There are exciting collaborations and events coming up that combine fun, education, and inspiration.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Don’t wait until everything is perfect to start. You grow as you go. Believe in yourself, stay consistent, and protect your energy. Also, cherish your support system—my husband and family keep me grounded and remind me why I do what I do.
