How do you introduce yourself?

Lavanya Bharathi: Hi My name is Lavanya Bharathi I was born and bought up in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. I’m an international attorney working in USA currently. I participated in Mrs India North Carolina pageant 2020. I was among the top 10 contestants and was titled Ms. Photogenic.

How was your childhood to adulthood transition?

Lavanya Bharathi: There was a huge transition when I moved into my adulthood from childhood. My father worked with defense ministry, so we got to roam around all the parts of India. Due to which I was exposed to different languages and culture.
Growing up I started to have acne on my face and I could see changes in the behavior of people around me. Because in this world some people judge a person by his/her beauty.

Thankfully my parents were very broad minded who told me one quote “Bad experience makes us stronger, and these bad memories are what makes us who we are, if we rather not get dragged to the black hole of negative thoughts we will overcome these experiences and be a better positive person”. I started taking care of my health and food choices wisely.

Slowly the phase went by, my health came on track. When I turned 18, I gave an interview for an airhostess position, and I got selected. Not that I wanted to become an airhostess since it was my dream to become an attorney/lawyer, but it boosted my confidence a lot.

What struggles did you face in your life?

Lavanya Bharathi: I was very close to my family, but wanted to have a nice career. So, I moved to Pune and then Mumbai when I was 18. Staying away from family, dealing with the feeling of being alone in a new place, living on your own, trying to make a mark was the hardship I felt. But as they say “At the end of hardship comes happiness”.

What do people usually not know about you?

Lavanya Bharathi: That I’m an attorney but also a model who did little modelling as a side career in Mumbai and won Ms. Photogenic in Mrs India NC, USA competition. Also, I’m multilingual I can speak 4 languages and understand 2 more languages.

What sets you apart from your competitors in industry and in life?

Lavanya Bharathi: I challenge myself to do things/work in a unique and better way. Continuous improvement is what sets me apart from others.

How is your bond with your family, friends and loved ones?

Lavanya Bharathi: I am very attached to my family and friends. By god’s grace I have very supportive parents and sibling, husband and daughter and I love them all a lot. It feels nice to have a supportive family.

What are your upcoming projects?

Lavanya Bharathi: Apart from my law work schedule which keeps me busy most of the time, I’m participating in a dance competition. It’s a huge program where I will be performing Giddha a Punjabi folk dance with my group. Also, planning to participate in Mrs India USA competition in 2024 again to win the crown this time.

What expert advice you would like to share with your fans and newcomers in your industry?

Lavanya Bharathi: I would say just concentrate, focus on whatever you are good at and give 100% effort to it. Success is guaranteed.

What are your food preferences and physical attributes?

Lavanya Bharathi: I’m a hardcore vegetarian and I like Indian, Indo Chinese, Thai and Mexican food. I have a long dark brown hair with brown eyes.
