Kat Gemini was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with her.

How do you introduce yourself?

Kat Gemini: Kat Gemini. Fashion model based in Arizona with 5 years experience. 

Childhood to Adulthood – How was your transition from childhood to adulthood and what are the bad and good things you remember?

Kat Gemini: I had a really rough childhood. With a mother that fed me lies about my father and controlled everything I did, every thought, every relationship and friendship and kept me unnecessarily medicated so I’d never see the truth. At age 15 I was deemed old enough to decide for myself and fled to be with my father who I never got to see since 4 years old. He was and is a wonderful man and father and taught me everything I’d need to know and then some.

From 15 to 18, it was the best home I’d ever known, but I had some challenges along the way, that I chose to keep quite when I probably should’ve spoke out. From there on I found true love and had my first little boy at 19 going on 20. I got married and had my second boy the following year. We’ve had a really rough life still but managed to have a 3rd boy years later and now are fighting to show them all that mommy never gave up in hopes that they never do either. 

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

Kat Gemini: Refer to question 2. I was also raped at the age of 15 by one of my first boyfriends, devirginized in the worst way and still continue to go through hardships at this time. But I refuse to give up.

What do people usually not know about you?

Kat Gemini: I am multi talented. So I come from a very talented family on my father’s side. My father being a beautiful singer, playing guitar and rubbing off on my eldest brother who ended up getting out of college and going straight to the music industry. Starting in 2010 ish, I wanna say, being in a Southern Christian rock band, Delivered 24/7 which you can look up via YouTube.

He also worked with several radio stations and got to meet some other talented artists along the way. Me, myself have always been the girl of many talents and strengths. These talents go as followed, being in theater arts, choir, band classes, learning to play bass, electric and acoustic guitar, as well as singing like an angel, voice impressions, artistic, a writer of poetry, songs and stories and now adding Modeling and photography to that list. In band I played, trumpet, flute, drums and guitars. 

What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?

Kat Gemini: I’m unique, by that I mean I am not afraid to bend the odds or break away from my comfort zones to get a very artistic shot done. I am known to be quite eccentric and out there with my style choices and my personality and am willing to learn and be anything I can be, regardless of the world’s standards and view points of society. I’m me.

What are your upcoming major events?

Kat Gemini: I don’t have too much to update on as I take opportunity as it comes my way, however I am very proud to announce that I am always receiving new publications via magazines and calendars, regardless of being a newer model compared to most, I get in pretty high demand. I am currently in 211 publications now in only a matter of 5 years, Making this interview number 212. 

What are your food preferences and physical attributes?

Kat Gemini: I am a foodie. I say that with pride because I’ve always been a little under average with my weight and fast metabolism I inherited from my father’s family. With that being noted, I am ALWAYS eating something haha. I mainly stick to protein and greens, fruits and nuts, and love love love my cheese. I try to eat a steady balanced diet and exercise regularly, it’s pretty amazing that I still however have stayed between the same weight since graduating high school, even now nearing 30. 

Your love life, relationships and family?

Kat Gemini: I am very very blessed and happily married to the man of my dreams, a man that gives me everything he has to give even on the days he feels like caving in and telling the world to go away. He is my prince charming and I am his queen. He gifted me with 3 gorgeous and perfect little boys, 2 of which have his eyes and whole face, one being my own little mini me and all of them being the most beautiful part of my life from day one to beyond.

My boys are all named after Greek God’s and I hope to one day add a Goddess to the family my oldest boy is Ares, my miracle baby and middle child is Achillies, and my little bitty is (Arte) Artemis. My Achillies is my miracle baby because we had some unexpected pregnancy issues that ended up being deadly for us both, him especially. Strep B was the disease we were diagnosed with which could’ve caused, pneumonia, organ failure, heart failure, brain damage, or even death.

What was worse is the only cure was a medication that I was deathly allergic to. When delivery day came, I was stuck alone because my husband was stuck in traffic and I was left to make the decision of my life for the baby’s life. I was not accepting that option either and refused to let them touch me until we came to a compromise that could help the both of us but possibly cause slight damage to either him and me.

We tried and I cried and prayed to a God that let me down time and time again, I pleaded with the nurses and I talked my Achillies every step of the way to be born safely, healthy or at least alive. Every push was agony and I was filled more fear when I couldn’t feel him move from me.

He came out silent at first for at least 1 minute and a shrill cry leaked out and I held him and he saw me and we made the instant connection knowing we weren’t out of the woods yet but he would survive and I’d be there every day to make sure of it. Hence my miracle, now 6 years later thriving successful and so smart and lovable, so much energy and personality, it’s almost as if he never was at risk. 

What expert advice would you like to give?

Kat Gemini: To never give up no matter how hard or impossible or unfixable things get or seem to be. Every day is gonna be good and bad, that’s just how it is, but it’s up to you to keep going regardless of what the demons in your heart tell you.

You are not alone, you will never be alone and you are heard and seen and if you don’t believe me, just know I don’t have to know you to say, I Believe In You enough for you. Don’t give up because one day will be the best day of your life and if you don’t fight, then you’ll never survive.
