Jean-Luc Servino was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with him.

Jean-Luc Servino Exclusive Cover Story – July 2023

How do you introduce yourself?

Jean-Luc Servino: I contain in me the director, the writer, the producer, the entrepreneur, the event planner, the public relations officer, everything. I’m a million of contradictions.

Childhood to Adulthood – How was your transition from childhood to adulthood and what are the bad and good things you remember?

Jean-Luc Servino: My childhood is characterized by toys adventures (my first actors), videogames, comic books and a lot of soccer with my friends. During my adolescence I start making movies and many other creative content with my friends, what a fun times! That moments in the courtyards, on the streets, was the best times of my life. Then, unfortunately, I opened my eyes and found myself an adult. That was the most bad thing!

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

Jean-Luc Servino: I can write a book about this, I’ll probably make a movie. My father said, when I was younger “hard times breed better men”. His death was the hardest moment of my life.

What do people usually not know about you?

Jean-Luc Servino: Probably, that I love to be alone.

What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?

Jean-Luc Servino: Around me I see a lot of envy that people have each other and the self belief that they are the best, in industry and in life. For me this is synonym of a deep ignorance.

Probably the main thing that sets me apart from my “competitors” in the industry and the people in life, is that I love to learn everyday something new because I don’t feel the best in anything and if I see someone better than me for some reason, I don’t feel envy or jealousy, but I appreciate his way and I try to improve myself on that quality. For me, this is a good way to improve your working skills by offering quality and constantly innovation to your customers and to live better.

What are your upcoming major events?

Jean-Luc Servino: I will be in Abruzzo this august for the “Giove International Film Festival”, then in Barcelona for the “Love & Hope International Film Festival” next september and during november I will be in Hollywood and New York City for other two Film Festivals, then I’ll go back in Italy for the premiere of my new film.

What are your food preferences?

Jean-Luc Servino: I love carbonara and I have created a dish called Jean-Bonara, you have to try it, but anchovy pizza and the seafood are my usual choices. I like everything.

Your love life, relationships and family?

Jean-Luc Servino: I have a partner who loves “cinepanettoni”, a particular type of italian comedies, that’s what brought us together. When she reads this interview she will probably hate me a lot for this confession, but I will continue to love her.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Jean-Luc Servino: First of all, be self-critical. After this, follow your ambitions. Life is a quick challenge, who doesn’t risk doesn’t win. If you think to know everything, you lose, there is always one thing that you don’t know, forever, so listen to (almost) everyone. Accept and learn from constructive criticism and be indifferent to the bad opinions without constructive elements of others, they are just negative people, stay away. Choose the positivity, work on yourself.
