Jamie Kendall was recently interviewd by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and here is the Q&A we had with Jamie.
Jamie Kendall As Cover Story Interview – May 2026 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
I am an actress, model, and red-carpet interviewer and reporter for Cyber Defense TV. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, I began my professional career in commercial real estate working for the top commercial real estate firm in Manhattan doing in-house retail leasing on the most expensive real estate properties in the world. I moved to San Francisco to continue my journey in real estate, embarking on a career in brokerage, investment sales, office leasing, and multifamily properties.
Eventually I was discovered by an LA casting director and switched into modeling where my career in both the fashion and entertainment industries quickly took off. My modeling and acting highlights include being published in MAXIM Magazine 7 times, being named an official Playboy Playmate including Playboy France’s Playmate of the Day, doing many runway shows including LA Fashion Week, and doing a PayPal commercial.
I’ve had a dedication to volunteer work through Babes in Toyland Charity, which combines charity and fashion. I have been a model host 12 times for the organization and am dedicated to giving back to the community.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I’ve had all kinds of setbacks in life: health, heartbreak, things just not going my way—lots of things out of my control. And some things from my own doing. Mistakes I’ve made. But I have been able to overcome pretty much all of them by just pulling myself up by my bootstraps and dusting myself off. And I just keep going along. Dealing with the pain and walking through the “fire,” I have always come out a better, stronger, more resilient person.
What do people usually not know about you?
People usually do not know that I’m actually a very good artist. I’m just now starting to showcase it a little more on my social media. I used my art skills during my 4-year long job at the fashion brand West Coast Leather where I would help design clothing by making hand drawings, or I would draw pieces of clothing by hand that needed to be sketched for the tailor or factory. I was also a featured model for the brand and the Social Media Director—those were my main roles.
What sets you apart from others?
I think I’m a unique combination of skills having come from a 13-year commercial real estate background, so I have the business background that I bring, plus the fashion knowledge that I’ve gained from working at West Coast Leather. I’ve incorporated that with the modeling, and then I’ve added on new elements like acting, hosting (on-camera reporting, interviews), and then new industries I’ve joined like cybersecurity and media. Lastly, I’ve been monetized by Meta (Facebook and Instagram) so I’m heavily involved in social media. I have a pretty well-rounded skill set. I was just awarded a 2026 Icons of Change Award for global impact and specifically for female empowerment across different industries—business, fashion, and media. The Icons of Change organization is associated with the United Nations. They have also asked me to be an Ambassador for them and make a keynote speech.
What are your upcoming major events?
I plan to be a Model Host at a couple of Babes in Toyland Charity Events this summer – one in LA which is LA Swim Week and one in Las Vegas for Sin City Swim Week. I will be modeling for the fashion brand West Coast Leather who I have been working with for many years at this summer’s Union Street Festival in San Francisco. In August I will be reporting once again on camera for Cyber Defense TV, this time at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas at a cybersecurity convention called Black Hat.
What expert advice would you like to give?
As for modeling/fashion, I say let your passion and your love for it drive you. Don’t let anybody get in your head for any reason whatsoever whether it is competition, criticism, control, or your own self telling you that you are not good enough. As for business, educate yourself as much as possible—never stop learning, be tough as nails, work your butt off, and don’t let anyone push you around or cross lines. As for media/social media, fight for the spotlight and keep posting and posting and posting and posting and drown out the noise and the competition!
