How do you introduce yourself?

E. Finfin Krzanowski: My name is E. Finfin Krzanowski, and I am a high-energy, driven, communications leader. I am a wife, mom, Executive Director of an international company, and fashion enthusiast whose sole interest is to curate affordable fashion looks for the everyday fashionista.

How was the transition from your childhood into adulthood/teenage and what good and bad things do you remember?

E. Finfin Krzanowski: Looking back, through my transformation from childhood to adulthood, other than physical changes, I am still the same person. My passion, drive, and determination have always been the same. While there were many obstacles, I believe it was my perseverance and faith that led me to become the successful adult that I am today.

Struggle – What hardships have you faced during your life?

E. Finfin Krzanowski: In any journey, there are struggles, and it’s your perseverance, determination, and zeal that set you apart from the rest. I was born and raised on an island by low-income parents who both worked blue-collar jobs. I struggled financially through university, was at the mercy of donors, and had every job imaginable. Once it was legal and ethical, I did it. I believe it is the hardship that has made me who I am, even in those moments of unpleasantness or sadness, I knew it was a means to an end. I knew I would look back someday and say it wasn’t easy, but it made me who I am today.

What things people usually do not know about you?

E. Finfin Krzanowski:  I am very big on sharing my passion and my love for so many things with my followers on social media. If there was one thing people did not know about me, it would probably be my love for street food. I am a serial street food eater; there is nothing better than buying roasted corn, chicken, or fry dough from a busy street. It’s an experience like no other. It was one of my mom’s biggest pet peeves about me, but it never changed.

What make you unique from your competitors in the industry and life?

E. Finfin Krzanowski: I don’t believe in competing, especially as a woman and in business. As a woman, I like to inspire and elevate, and I look to other women for the same strength when I need it. In business, our company’s focus is to provide high-quality services that resonate with clients and provide them with effective solutions, and it is our passion, innovative approach, and international experience that set them apart from the competition.

What are your major upcoming events?

E. Finfin Krzanowski: I have been blessed with many business ventures, the first being my communication company, Cardinal Points International, which recently hosted an international film festival in the Caribbean, attracting a star-studded crowd of filmmakers, celebrities, and environmental advocates. Additionally, my fashion platform, lovexfinfin, has recently partnered with Amazon to launch an official storefront under its Amazon Influencer program.  I get the privilege of creating style content for a larger audience and sharing tips and tricks on how to look amazing on a small budget. What are your diet preference and physical measurements?

E. Finfin Krzanowski: I don’t follow a particular diet, but I do try to incorporate lots of vegetables and fruits, grains, nuts, fish, and poultry into my diet. I don’t eat dairy, red meat, or pork. I am very comfortable and confident in my physical appearance, and I don’t follow the European standard of beauty. I believe beauty is subjective and individualized, and as a US size 8/10, 5 foot, 7 inches, dark Afro-Caribbean woman, I am very confident in my beauty.

What expert advice would you like to share?

E. Finfin Krzanowski: There are struggles on every journey, irrespective of the path or destination. My journey to my perceived success, whether in my business or social life, isn’t much different from many of your readers. Through my challenges, I maintained my faith, strength, and perseverance and also held on to my conviction that I was going to achieve what I set out to. What I’ve come to learn is that we don’t grow when things are easy, we grow through our challenges and obstacles. After all, if there’s no struggle, there’s no progress.
