How do you introduce yourself?

Born in Athens and known from the “The Good Wife”, her collaborations with Amos Poe & Mikis Theodorakis , the pages of fashion magazines… and her “Let there be Love” hit song… Anna Rezan is becoming globally known as one of the most important film makers of her generation…

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

I overcame significant personal and professional hardships. I survived two rapes at age 18. I have battled depression and panic attacks. I have faced industry sexism, prejudice, and a lack of early support while independently producing my award-winning Holocaust documentary, My People.

What do people usually not know about you?

Thank I am of Greek Jewish descent from Spain and Poland. Most people believe I am American due to the characters I portray . In additionl I do hold a BA in Journalism.

What sets you apart from others?

I believe that “Love brings Love” … I do try to use my platform for social good, spread of good news …supporting causes and raising awareness, energy healing, charities, and female-driven cinema.

What are your upcoming major events ?

My directorial debut ww2 epic is now available on Amazon… and I wish you will love it .

I am costarring in Season 2 of “Great kills” which is a fun TV project that I believe you will enjoy. I look forward to the theatrical releases of the three films I just worked on.Freddy Falcon is directing me in the upcoming thriller “1209 Covenstead” ,Ben Tripp in “The Water Thief” and Olcan McSparron in “An Irish American horror”.

What expert advice would you like to give?

I strongly advocate for therapy, suggesting you find a method that clearly works for you. I emphasise in finding joy through simple practices like slow mornings, deep conversations, and prayer.

Walt Disney said : “Dreams do come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” I love to encourage creatives and filmmakers to listen to their inner calling, be themselves …which will naturally help attract the right collaborators.
