Fresh off completing his bachelor’s degree and now pursuing a master’s degree at USC, he is actively developing new film projects while advancing his career across multiple facets of the entertainment industry.
How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Ember Apgar, an actor, filmmaker, and photographer passionate about telling stories that evoke emotions with audiences on a deeper level.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I’ve encountered the same challenges many young professionals face while building a career, but each obstacle became an opportunity to learn, improve, and push myself further. Those experiences strengthened my work ethic, resilience, and passion, and reinforced my commitment to continuously growing both personally and professionally.
What do people usually not know about you?
Most people don’t know that I work professionally in front of and behind the camera, giving me a deeper skill set and understanding of film and television.
What sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is my ability to turn challenges into momentum. I’ve learned how to stay focused, outwork obstacles, and keep improving no matter what the circumstances are.
What are your upcoming major events?
I am excited to be pursuing my masters degree at USC. I just completed my bachelors degree with a major in Television Narrative, emphasis in cinematography, and a minor in directing. I’m currently developing new film projects while pursuing my career in front and behind the camera.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Consistency and effort wins. Keep creating, keep learning, and opportunities will follow. Follow your passion and never give up.
