Rachel is a resilient entrepreneur, lash technician, and business owner whose journey has been shaped by faith, perseverance, and creativity. Raised in London with Ghanaian, Ivorian, and Black British roots, she overcame profound hardships, including losing both parents at a young age and experiencing homelessness as a teenager. Rather than allowing adversity to define her, Rachel transformed her struggles into strength, building her own beauty brand while inspiring others through her authenticity and unwavering trust in God. Today, she continues to grow her business, pursue new opportunities, and encourage people to pair faith with hard work in the pursuit of their dreams.

How do you introduce yourself?

Hi, I’m Rachel. I’m Ghanaian, Ivorian, and black British raised in LONDON UK. I’m a Christian , an entrepreneur, I have  my own Bonnet Business  and a lash Tec. I love makeup, fashion, and illustration, and I enjoy being creative and making people happy.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

Like many people, I have been through many challenges in life. I became an orphan after losing both of my parents at a young age, and I was homeless from the age of 16. At that age, I was trying to navigate through life, made some mistakes, and experienced delays in areas such as motherhood, relationships, and health, where I sometimes felt like all hope was lost.

However, those experiences made me stronger and helped me realise that I have a bigger God who is always there for me and will never forsake me.

What do people usually not know about you?

People usually see me smiling, but behind the scenes, they don’t know the tears I’ve had to shed, the sleepless nights, the prayers, and the hard work I’ve had to put in to keep going and glowing.

What sets you apart from others?

What sets me apart from others is that I am simply myself. I enjoy being true to who I am, and I connect with people easily. I’m a very down-to-earth person, and I love wholeheartedly.

What are your upcoming major events ?

Well, I’m currently working on my business and going through a rebrand. Matter of fact, let’s just say… follow me on my social media for the big announcement hahaha!

I would love to connect with people in the movie , content creating industry.

What expert advice would you like to give?

One piece of advice I would give is to always have faith in God, no matter what season of life you are in. There will be times when things feel impossible, when doors seem closed, and when you feel like giving up. But never stop believing that God has a purpose for your life. Trust His timing, stay prayerful, and keep your heart strong even during difficult moments.

At the same time, faith alone is not enough if you are not willing to put in the work. Faith without work is dead. You have to pray, but you also have to move. Work hard, stay consistent, be disciplined, and never let setbacks stop you from chasing your goals. Success does not happen overnight, and every delay is not a denial.

Keep going even when nobody sees your effort, because one day your hard work, sacrifices, and prayers will all make sense. Stay humble, stay focused, and remember that with God and determination, anything is possible.
