How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Mariana Alicia Ortigoza. I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina, in South America. I’ve been studying acting since I was five years old and have performed in many plays, such as Heidi, in local theaters. I started modeling for boutiques and continued studying acting. Later, I graduated as a Biology Professor while continuing to act in theater, even playing male roles like the crow. I had my first opportunity to act in a horror short film, Alone In Fear (2024), which won 14 awards at festivals. After that, I continued creating short films on my own as a writer, editor, producer, screenwriter, and lead actress.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
It’s about the struggles I faced after my grandmother passed away. I had to move on and become a stronger woman, and through it all, I gained a better understanding of myself and learned to keep moving forward, even through failures, because the entertainment industry is not easy.
What do people usually not know about you?
I look so young that people can never guess my age.
What sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from others is that I am highly educated, have great taste, and am very serious about my career. I choose the most excellent and challenging roles offered to me.
What are your upcoming major events ?
Upcoming major events include many projects to continue acting and possibly modeling, and my dream is to make a motion picture in Hollywood.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Expert advice is to never give up on your dreams. Pursue them, and they will all come true just like they did for you.
