Samantha Pearl was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and here is the Q&A we had with Samantha.
Samantha Pearl As Cover Story Interview – May 2026 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
It really depends on who I’m talking to. When I introduce myself to other actors, I usually talk about how long I’ve been in the industry and where I’m based out of/what other places in worked in. In general though, I’ll say I’m Sam from Virginia and talk about some of my hobbies such as yoga, snowboarding, and crochet.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I think one of my biggest hurdles with navigating relationship that was really only my second relationship ever, it just wasn’t the right fit for either of us. I was young and definitely very naïve about what a healthy partnership look like and for a long time, I lost sight of who I even was. I’m actually grateful though as I learned a lot about myself and in relationships in general. Like Ariana Grande said: “thank you, next.” I also think that was a time in high school where you feel pressured to be in relationships maybe because it’s “cool” or all your friends are in them, so I think that’s another reason why I stayed so long.
What do people usually not know about you?
I majored in Technical and business writing and worked in IT for a few years before I got into acting. I love it as it combines a lot of different areas (outside of just writing), such as marketing, business, and science. You get to help people understand complex systems while also learning about how technology is always developing. I also lived in England for two years in high school, which was a huge culture shock at first but it was an incredible time that went by way too fast. I met some really awesome people there. It’s funny because sometimes I still say some English idioms such as “straight away” or say Aluminum in a British accent.
What sets you apart from others?
If it’s the right role, I’m one of those actors that is willing to learn a new language, change my look, etc. I also speak some Spanish, German, French, and Japanese. I feel like if you’re one of those actors that wants to play almost any kind of character, it’s good to expand what you’re capable of. I also think artists should figure out what makes them unique. Everyone has their own acting style and it’s good to find yours and incorporate your personality into it, when you can.
What are your upcoming major events?
I can’t say many details about them, but I have some projects coming out this year that are so powerful and I’m so proud of. I am so excited to see them because so many talented people worked on them. This summer, I am also having a huge family reunion with my mom’s side of the family. My cousin recently had her first kid and it would be the first time I’m meeting the baby.
What expert advice would you like to give?
I’d say first and foremost, that being happy with yourself is the most important thing, as well as being open to change and taking some huge risks. Being kind also goes a long way. The other piece of advice I would give is don’t lose yourself in acting. Your self-worth is not tied to your resume, and it is a really slow industry so don’t put aside your entire life, such as friends, family, for the industry. The industry comes and goes, but your family and friends will always be there.
