Anya Marco Harris (Actor) was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and here is the Q&A session we had with Anya.

How do you introduce yourself?
Anya, or formerly Anya Marco Harris.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Plenty! I lost my father at a young and impressionable age. As an adult I struggled with self-esteem, and as an actor that’s a huge deal. I had to give up my dream of being an actor when I was 30 after a miscarriage, then spent my 30’s experiencing several more miscarriages. I went through divorce at 40 and after a hysterectomy at 47 I nearly died. But every hardship or challenge happened for a reason. Without each and every experience in my life I wouldn’t be where I am today. I would never have met my soulmate, or returned to acting. Changing my lifestyle and returning to acting was one of the best decisions I ever made, that and marrying my amazing husband who supports me every day.
What do people usually not know about you?
That I used to be a coffee expert known as The Coffee Queen and I helped introduce the Flat White to the UK chains and popularise the beverage over here! I also have an MA in Cosmology. I returned to acting at 52 and by 53 landed roles in Disclaimer (Alfonso Cuaron) and then HERE (Bob Zemeckis). Most don’t realise I’m 55 either! or that I am half Spanish (my dad was Spanish) and Latina on my paternal grandmother’s side.
What sets you apart from others?
Truth, vulnerability and according to my husband a certain rule-breaking attitude to life. I believe you can do anything if you really want to, and I will and do find ways to do what I want to do.
What are your upcoming major events?
Series 1 of my own cosy crime comedy series, The Bookshop Investigations, has been released on YouTube https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7wHwlSgws3JWonV3vypWYo9VuYgEJR0l&si=ZSgfFFvEtt0_UiW9 and I am now writing Series 2 ready for filming in March/April and then hopefully release in June. All other exciting opportunities are under wraps for now…
What expert advice would you like to give?
Just go for it. Do whatever it is that calls your heart. You might have to balance it with something that pays the bills, but if you don’t have a go then what is life really about?
