How do you introduce yourself?
As one of the most curious people on the planet. My curiosity makes me feel like Socrates, the ancient Greek philosopher: I know that what I know is never enough! I love to improve myself everyday more. One degree..? No, a couple of Masters! One language..? No, five! I love learning, studying, doing.. and doing! I love music, languages, culture, charity, law. Right now I am even an University Professor in a post University Master.. and I think that this helps me in keeping studying and learning everyday more! I love writing scores and music for movies: this is the gift that I discovered when I was around my 20ies and that now I am trying to develop mostly.. always studying with humility and passion.. the real engine of the world!
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I was dieing when I was 9 moths old. I think that I keep this hunger of life in my soul since that time. My parents were very young and very scared.. and we fought together for some years, with all my beautiful family. Now nobody could tell that! But this energy I have everyday in my life and in my heart comes from this, I know! For me nothing is hard, nothing is impossible.. I know that, with preparation and love, we are capable to do miracles in our lives! We are blessed just to be in this world. And I am blessed to have an incredible family next to me. What can I be afraid of? Obstacles? I was an hurdler when I was younger.. so, for me, hurdles are the real metaphor of my life!
What do people usually not know about you?
Well.. that I live of the simplest things, in my hometown. I need my trees, my family, my pets around me. This is my happiest place on earth! They maybe do not know that I am a deep believer. My faith is what moves every step I do, what gives the final reason and vision to all my journey!
What sets you apart from others?
I think I am different from the people that are not capable to find miracles in everything they live. I am always happy, always full of energies! I love making compliments and to smile to everyone I meet. They say I am a problem solver. I love to make people shine, to let them happy.. And I hate arrogance, moreover against the simple and the kind people. I can become a tiger when I see injustice on the ones who do not deserve. The most clever and smart people I met in my life were the most humble and kind. When someone is happy about his life, he/she smiles to the world and elevate the people around! This is the real meaning of being into this world to leave a little legacy..
What are your upcoming major events ?
I putted together an international all female band, with women musicians from the 5 continents, something never happened in the past. I truly believe women are created to give love.
This love, combined to the music, has the immense strength to change people’s life! I’ve always been a live artist, since I was 13 years old.
I truly worked stronger and stronger to score music for movies: last year I gave a song to an international movie with Harvey Keitel and Olga Kurylenko and right now I am scoring a new international movie with A-list stars. I started composing with music and lyrics at the beginning and, in time, I collaborated in a project with greatest artists like Diane Warren and John Debney. Then I took the courage and I switched to the scoring for images.. my biggest dream since I was a little child! Then I have my University Professor life and all the major events I host. Then, the most important thing: my son and my family to take care of!
What expert advice would you like to give?
To follow their heart.. and to avoid each kind of prejudice! In life you’ll never know! I did my law master and degrees to please my dad, that is a lawyer. Thanks God, I found the copyright subject in it and the international human rights law! It helped me a lot with my career as an artist and as a CEO of a charity.
Nowadays, my profession is to be an artist.. and my hobby is to teach at a university! Don’t you think it is a bit strange..?
