Kappello Coach As Cover Story Interview – June 2025 Magazine Edition

Introduction

I am an Italian-American multiilingual poet and songwriter, who loves to impact lives with my poems, my songs, and blog. I live in NYC and enjoy time at home with my maltese Lizzie, listening to music, watching my favorite programs, taking my dog for walks and being inspired by the world around me.

Childhood to Adulthood Transition

My parent divorced when I was a kid and it was not amicable, so that impacted my life. Also I did not have a lot of positive reinforcement in my life growing up, but I really wanted to show that despite that I was not broken. I’ve also had to navigate fibromyalgia, which can be so tiring.

My transition into adulthood was helped a lot by my writing, discovering myself via the arts.

What do people usually not know about you?

While I appear strong and tough, i’m still sensitive, as I still carry some of those childhood scars.

What sets you apart from rest?

In terms of the artistic process I don’t have a set routine in terms of writing, so I can be walking and suddenly have a poem or song come to me, so it’s very much go with the flow and the Spirit in terms of what I produce, when and how often.
