Liliana Ferreira was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with Liliana.
How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Liliana Ferreira. I’m originally from Viana do Castelo, Portugal, but I’ve been living in the Netherlands for the past six years. I’m a music artist with a deep love for pop and soul, although I enjoy exploring different genres and expressing myself through diverse musical styles. Music has always been my greatest passion—it’s how I connect with people and share my emotions and stories. I see my voice as my instrument and my art as a reflection of my journey and identity.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
My biggest struggles have been in my music journey. I’ve been singing for over 20 years, performing in auditions and live shows with all my heart. But it wasn’t until four years ago that I finally released my first single—a dream I had worked so long for. Shortly after, I lost my manager, and since then, it’s been a challenge finding a new team to support and grow my career. Still, I remain passionate and determined, because music is who I am.
What do people usually not know about you?
Most people don’t realize that I’m actually quite shy and often hard on myself. When I go live or perform, I might seem confident and in control, but inside I’m usually very nervous. I have a deep fear of failure and hold myself to very high standards. I’m constantly working on silencing my inner critic and learning to believe in myself more. It’s a personal battle, but I know I’m not alone in it—and I hope my honesty can inspire others to keep going too.
What sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is my vocal power and range—I have a strong voice and can reach high notes, but more importantly, I sing every song with soul. I’m Portuguese, and I believe my people naturally carry deep emotions, and I channel that into my music. When I sing, I’m not just performing—I’m telling a story. And that story needs to be felt, not just heard. I want people to experience the emotion behind every lyric, every note.
What are your upcoming major events?
At the moment, I don’t have a team to organize big events outside of social media, but I’ve chosen to use the tools I do have—especially TikTok. I currently host live shows on TikTok every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, connecting with my audience and growing my community. These lives have become my personal stage, where I share my voice, energy, and passion with people from all over the world. It’s just the beginning, and I believe bigger things are on the horizon.
What expert advice would you like to give?
My advice is: never give up. The journey of an artist is often lonely and difficult. People may come and go, but at the end of the day, it’s a path you walk mostly on your own. That’s why every dream we achieve comes from persistence and the belief we have in ourselves—even before anyone else does. Trust your talent, stay consistent, and keep going, no matter how hard it gets.
