Victoria Naa Shika Quaye As Cover Story Interview – August 2026 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
Good day. My name is Victoria Naa Shika Quaye, but most people call me the Africa Water Woman and Madame Vic.
I am an entrepreneur, humanitarian, and the Founder & CEO of *Naaviq Company Limited and Heart of Dasia Foundation.
Through Naaviq, I’m focused on building businesses that create value and opportunities. I also discover underground water and treat water for communities and households.
Through Heart of Dasia, I’m focused on giving back — serving with love and healing with compassion in our communities.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I’ve walked through seasons of poverty and financial struggle. At a very young age I was selling water on the streets of Accra just to survive. I’ve also faced rejection and having to start over. There were times I doubted myself and wondered if my dreams were too big.
But those hardships taught me resilience and empathy. They showed me what it feels like to need help, and that’s what fuels both my business and my charity work today.
I believe God allows challenges to shape us. My tests became my testimony, and now I use them to inspire others and to serve.
What do people usually not know about you?
People see Madame Vic the CEO and the philanthropist, but they don’t always see the quiet, family-oriented woman behind it.
I’m very prayerful, I value my privacy, and I’m deeply emotional — I feel people’s pain.
What many don’t know is that I’m also a big dreamer who sometimes battles self-doubt. But what keeps me going is knowing that my work, whether in business or in service, is touching at least one life.
What sets you apart from others?
I lead with heart. In business and in charity, I don’t just chase profit or recognition — I chase impact.
With Naaviq Company Limited, I’m committed to building with integrity and creating opportunities for others.
With Heart of Dasia Foundation, I’m committed to restoring dignity and bringing hope to the underserved.
What sets me apart is that I treat everyone the same — from the market woman to the corporate sponsor. For me, it’s always about people first.
What are your upcoming major events?
On the business side, Naaviq Company Limited is working on expanding our services and partnerships to create more jobs and value in Ghana. Naaviq is also coming up with a product that purifies contaminated water and makes it good for human use.
On the humanitarian side, Heart of Dasia Foundation is planning more Free Health Screening outreaches and health education campaigns in underserved communities.
We’ll also be seeking more partnerships to scale our impact. I’m excited about what’s ahead, and announcements will be made soon.
What expert advice would you like to give?
- To the youth: Don’t waste your pain. Let it become your purpose. The same struggle can become the reason someone else gets hope.
- To aspiring entrepreneurs: Start where you are with what you have. Don’t wait for perfection. Be consistent, be ethical, and let your brand be known for value.
- To everyone: Success is not just about what you gather, but about what you give back. Build your business, but also build people.
And very importantly on health: Please be careful of the water you drink. Water can kill you faster than food. It’s very important to drink and use clean water. That’s why at Naaviq we are committed to making safe water accessible.
And most importantly, put God first in everything.
