Sandra Strachan As Cover Story Interview – June 2026 Magazine Edition

Sandra Strachan

Known simply as Lady Wimbledon, this enigmatic personality has built a life defined by resilience, reinvention, and a deep appreciation for what truly matters. Having navigated a wide range of personal hardships, she now enjoys a quieter existence on the beaches of Cyprus with her children and rescued animals, while maintaining a carefully guarded private life. In this interview, Lady Wimbledon reflects on overcoming life’s challenges, shares her philosophy on valuing real-world experiences over social media distractions, and looks ahead to hosting the highly anticipated Wimbledon Tennis Party. Her story is a reminder that even the most turbulent journeys can lead to a fulfilling and joyful destination.

How do you introduce yourself?

I’m Lady Wimbledon (unless I’m in Wimbledon, then they know)

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

There isn’t a struggle I haven’t experienced, except my own death guess. Everyone has a book inside them, mine is a dark twisted roller coaster with a very happy ending.

What do people usually not know about you?

I keep myself very private and live in a remote part of Cyprus – on the beach with my kids, dogs and recently rescued kittens.

What sets you apart from others?

Everyone is unique in their own way

What are your upcoming major events ?

The Wimbledon Tennis Party is an exciting party. It will be held on the opening night of the Wimbledon Championships. The iconic Fat Tony will be headlining. Tickets available on Eventbrite or my Instagram bio @ladywimbledon.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Don’t waste a minute or your time on Social Media. If it’s not making a lot of money, pay someone else to do it or monetise and value the time you spend looking at a screen instead of living your life with friends, family, movement and nature.
