How do you introduce yourself?
Named after a Star-Naledi Moganedi, quite self-explanatory. I was born in South Africa, a very Creative and diverse country and from a city like Johannesburg one has a purpose to fulfil and mine is being a model. But like any other young adult chasing their dreams,I have other things to fall back on which are my studies in Civil Engineering and I’m currently doing my 1st year in Psychology, but my passion for modelling is out of this world- before pursuing the runway career I started off with Pageantry- Miss Interactional SA24 and surprisingly won on my first try and I think that was a perfect kick start to step out of the box and allow myself to be exposed in other areas. A girl from a township called Tembisa, a very boxed township it means a lot for me to be exposed in such places and honestly paving the way for other girls and boys from disadvantaged communities to believe in themselves and not allow the belief of “not everyone from the township can make it” and work towards living that that environment I don’t just say this without any action, I’ve done quit a few community services like charities ,soup drives and many more around my community and I’m that just fills my heart with gratitude. I just hope this career opens a lot of doors and opportunities for me to work with world wide brands and represent all the young adults from my community.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Hardships I’ve gone through was stepping out of my comfort zone and having to accept my calling which is being part of the industry (really tried avoiding attention but it seems like that’s not the path I’m supposed to take)
What do people usually not know about you?
That I’m actually multi talented- people think I only thrive in modelling but I’m actually y good in singing,dancing and art specifically sketching
What sets you apart from others?
What I believe sets me apart from others is I actually considering other people by putting myself in their shoes by acts of charity’s by donating cloths and shoes, running soup drives etc
What are your upcoming major events ?
I have quite a few- about to be part of a talent agency I’ve been wanting to work with @33 & me talent agency- -walking at the Ekurhuleni Couture week (fashion show) getting prep for another fashion and lastly preparing for castings for the Braam fashion week
What expert advice would you like to give?
‘IF NOT YOU THEN WHO’ is one of the most quotes I use to get me thru hardships and honestly I see these few words as a great advice for people working towards their dreams, course honestly if not you the person Perusing this dream of yours then who will
