Michael Sartain was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q & A session we had with him.

How do you introduce yourself?

I’m Michael Sartain. My journey started at the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned a BBA in Management Information Systems. Little did I know that graduating in the aftermath of the DotCom Bubble collapse would set me on an unexpected path.

I found myself navigating a challenging job market and eventually landed in the world of nightlife as a DJ. From there, I transitioned into a managerial role at a gentlemen’s club in Austin, where I honed my skills in communication, vocal presence, and people management amidst demanding circumstances.

In 2011, I made the leap to Las Vegas, immersing myself in event hosting and eventually embracing a role as a self-help coach. Organizing small pageants evolved into orchestrating large-scale events, where I refined my abilities in networking, trust-building, and cultivating an abundance mindset.

Throughout my journey, I’ve noticed a disparity between societal narratives about dating and the realities of modern relationships. Motivated to bridge this gap, I dedicated over a decade to understanding what really attracts women to men, aiming to unravel the complexities of human connection without bias.

In 2019, I founded the Men Of Action program, drawing upon my diverse experiences to create a comprehensive curriculum focused on performance coaching, social networking, leadership, entrepreneurship, mindset, and finance. Through this initiative, I’m committed to empowering individuals to lead fulfilling and abundant lives, offering practical insights gained from years of observation and study.

Childhood to Adulthood – How was your transition from childhood to adulthood and what are the bad and good things you remember?

Reflecting on my transition from childhood to adulthood, I realize how fortunate I was to have grown up in the same house and neighborhood with loving parents throughout my schooling years. This stability was something I didn’t fully appreciate until later, especially hearing about others’ varied and sometimes challenging upbringing experiences.

One of the best memories I cherish is the diversity of experiences I had. From playing football with a diverse group of friends to attending church in a predominantly white congregation, I gained valuable insights from navigating these different environments on a weekly basis.

However, my high school years weren’t all smooth sailing. I endured teasing and bullying, feeling like an outsider. Yet, my life took a dramatic turn in the past 13 years living in Vegas. Here, I’ve experienced a sense of belonging and popularity I never imagined. It’s almost as if I’ve become a figure of prominence.

In Vegas, I’m often treated well, with VIP treatment at clubs and restaurants. It’s a lifestyle where I can effortlessly command attention and hospitality, reminiscent of the in-crowd dynamic in high school. This experience isn’t just limited to nightlife; it extends to everyday interactions and events, where I’m constantly surrounded by friends and acquaintances.

Vegas embodies a unique blend of exclusivity and extravagance, where being part of the “in” crowd comes with perks like freebies and special treatment. It’s a place where I can consistently offer my guests an unforgettable experience, showcasing the city’s vibrant and glamorous atmosphere.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

I’ve faced significant hardships in my life. One of the most profound was the loss of my father to a drunk driving accident in 2006. The driver, who had recently been released from prison, caused the tragic incident. Despite her pleading not guilty due to lack of memory, forgiving her was a challenging journey.

Another pivotal moment was my realization of discipline and capability during my early years in the military, particularly in survival school. While I volunteered for the experience, the rigorous training helped me understand my resilience and adaptability.

Additionally, at the onset of the pandemic, I experienced a financial setback, losing approximately 80% of my investments while working in finance. Rebuilding from this loss taught me valuable lessons about the volatility of markets and the importance of financial mechanisms over mere wealth.

These experiences have shaped my understanding of resilience, adaptability, and the complexities of life.

What do people usually not know about you?

One aspect of my life that many people may not know about is that despite my active presence on social media, I actually spend the majority of my time in my apartment. It’s not just any apartment, though—it’s a space where I’ve set up a podcast studio. I share this space with three rescued cats, and I find solace in spending extended periods alone here, sometimes for three or four days at a time.

The amenities within the apartment, including my gym, steam room, and cold plunge, allows me to meet my needs without having to leave. With food delivery services readily available and my podcast studio conveniently located here as well, there’s often little reason for me to leave.

Contrary to what some may assume based on my online presence, I don’t frequently go out or perform on stage. I actually appreciate the comfort and convenience of staying in.

Another lesser-known fact about me is that I’ve never consumed alcohol or tried any drugs throughout my life.

What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?

In both the industry and in life, several factors set me apart from my competitors. Firstly, unlike some dating programs that may face ridicule, being associated with Men of Action garners respect and interest, particularly among social circles. Our commitment to integrity and operating above board has earned us a strong reputation, attracting people who value authenticity and genuine connections.

Another distinguishing factor is my emphasis on fostering platonic friendships between men and women. Contrary to conventional advice, I advocate for building meaningful friendships with women, which not only demonstrates genuine care but also naturally enhances social interactions and romantic prospects.

However, perhaps the most significant aspect that separates us is our commitment to under-promising and over-delivering. When clients join our program, we set realistic expectations for the positive changes they can expect. Yet, the transformations they experience often exceed their initial expectations by tenfold. Clients frequently express astonishment at the comprehensive improvements across various aspects of their lives, realizing that they didn’t fully grasp the possibilities beforehand.

Our program prioritizes holistic personal development, with a focus on leadership and self-improvement. Clients discover that our curriculum encompasses a diverse range of topics, offering a well-rounded approach to growth and success.

What are your food preferences and physical attributes?

As someone who maintains a high level of physical activity, I pay attention to my dietary intake and loosely track my macros. My food preferences tend to be simple and straightforward—I enjoy meals like rice, steak, and lettuce. Flavor isn’t a top priority for me; I’m more focused on fueling my body efficiently.

One of my go-to dining choices is Chipotle, where I often order a burrito bowl with double steak, rice, lettuce, and guacamole. I appreciate that Chipotle offers gluten-free options and aligns with paleo dietary principles. However, I acknowledge that some of their menu items, like the high sodium content and the olive oil used in their rice, may not be the healthiest choices.

What expert advice would you like to give?

As someone who has navigated various industries and roles, my expert advice revolves around the power of embracing personal growth and authenticity. Throughout my journey, from event hosting in Las Vegas to my role as a performance coach, I’ve learned the importance of networking, trust-building, and maintaining an abundance mindset.

Reflecting on societal narratives about dating and relationships, I realized the need to bridge the gap between conventional wisdom and the realities individuals face. This led me to dedicate over a decade to studying human connection and what truly attracts women to men, free from bias or prejudice.

In 2019, I founded the Men Of Action program, leveraging my diverse experiences to create a comprehensive curriculum focused on social networking, leadership, entrepreneurship, mindset, and finance. My advice is to embrace continuous learning, authenticity, and personal development. By doing so, you can empower yourself to lead a fulfilling and abundant life, regardless of the challenges you may face.
