How do you introduce yourself?
As a passionate woman who hope to make a difference with raising awareness through art. My next project is the 13th of December in théâtre de la Madeleine with amazing Madeleine Rees OBE. Supporting organisations who works to end violence and building peace. There will be monologues from “ The Vagina Monologues” but also others and music so we will name it ; “This Is Not The Vagina Monologues”.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Honestly through everything I see and hear I can’t say I have anything in comparison but I’ve had a few challenges like most of us. I believe my upbringing gave me strength to overcome them, and as a young girl I watched “Gone With The Wind” and I believe the role of “Scarlett “ gave me that inner strength of never giving up.
What do people usually not know about you?
That I don’t like sharing a glass. I see no difference in sharing a glass and kissing.
What sets you apart from others?
I am authentic. I love being different. Never followed anything. That has been an issue as an actress, singer songwriter, your agent and manager want to put you in a box, easier to sell, you can never put me into a box.
What are your upcoming major events ?
Just now I’m looking through my songs as I’m performing in London the 24th of October at Hux in South Kensington. Also I’m working on the event the 13th of December and I’m working on my next movie project also based upon one of Henrik Ibsen’s plays. Did you watch my movie “ELLIDA “? Based upon “The Lady From The Sea”, it’s on Amazon Prime. Very proud as it won more than 60 different festival awards.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Follow your heart and guts and as they told us at drama school ( went to RADA& Guildhall School of music & drama) be good to the people you meet on the way up as you will meet them on the way down.
