Geraldine Lo Monaco was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with her.

Geraldine Lo Monaco As Cover Story Interview – TheCelebrity.Online

 How do you introduce yourself?

Geraldine Lo Monaco: I’m an energy medicine practitioner who dedicated her last sixteen years to empowering individuals and bringing back their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health in an atmosphere of joyful creation. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing people aligning with their true desires and life paths harmoniously.

I was born and raised in Milan, Italy, until my early twenties. Then, I moved to Canada in 1999, where I resided for twenty-three years. After many years abroad, I started to be homesick, and now I’m back in Europe, where I feel a more profound sense of grounding, which is positively reflected in my healing practice.

Childhood to Adulthood – How was your transition from childhood to adulthood and what are the bad and good things you remember?

Geraldine Lo Monaco: The memory of endless summers sailing around Italian coasts chasing and studying jellyfish.

However, the Universe wanted me to grow up quickly and without warning. I come from a wealthy family that suddenly lost everything due to poor business choices. I was ten then and learned the hard way that material comfort could be ephemeral. The only lifelong values we can build have foundations inside ourselves, values we can carry everywhere and share with others.

That was the beginning of my life’s most incredible and rewarding journey, the one in Energy Medicine.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

Geraldine Lo Monaco: Aside from what I already explained, my Dad passed in 1997 from a brain aneurysm. At that time, I was living abroad, and I clearly remember the sudden and potent hunch to fly back home, but my logical brain kicked in, so I procrastinated the departure but could see him briefly before his passing.

In 2022, I had the same feeling of urging back home. This time, I followed my heart without hesitation and was graced with the opportunity to hold my Mom’s hand while she was on her way to my Dad.

Both events were keystones in my life, strengthened my spiritual resilience, and triggered tremendous emotional and mental growth. I learned that inner evolution and strong self-esteem are potent tools to disconnect from old traumas.

What do people usually not know about you?

Geraldine Lo Monaco: I used to be a competitive swimmer. At twelve years old, I was selected to join the Italian national swimming team, but my parents decided to opt me out because of my academic obligations.

I love traveling, and I’m always up for an adventure! Travel promotes self-discovery, self-confidence, and personal evolution.

I’ve been practicing Buddhism for the past twenty-seven years as it helps me center and align with my higher self. Through my Buddhist practice, I was able to face all the adversities I went through with a positive attitude.

What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?

Geraldine Lo Monaco: The healer’s journey is a very subjective path that shapes different professionals, each of them with their knowledge, skills, gifts, and sensitivity. So, I don’t see other Energy Medicine practitioners as my competitors.

We are all diverse but in the same big family of people who see the Universe and humanity differently and want to spread this vision, hoping to contribute to a better and more meaningful life experience in this world.

What are your upcoming major events?

Geraldine Lo Monaco: I have a speaking engagement in London in February and plan a series of online and in-person workshops throughout Europe in 2024 and 2025.

What are your food preferences and physical attributes?

Geraldine Lo Monaco: I follow a vegetarian/vegan diet. I’ve been allergic to fish since I was a kid, and I ruled out meat and dairy from my diet in my early twenties. However, nothing cheers me up as a bite of parmesan cheese.

Physical activity has always been a big part of my lifestyle, whether swimming, walking, yoga, pilates, etc. It calms my mind and helps me ground and realign my body, mind, and soul.

Your love life, relationships and family?

Geraldine Lo Monaco: I’m very private and won’t bore readers with details of my love life, but the biggest lesson I have learned in this regard is that if you don’t love yourself first, you can’t expect someone else to do it for you. Self-love heals physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies and profoundly transforms lives.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Geraldine Lo Monaco: Like Pierre Teilhard de Chardin would say, “We’re not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience”. We are here on Earth to evolve and find joy in a creative process.

Listen and trust your inner voice because the answers you are looking for are not around you, but in your heart.
