Fiona Mwaka was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with Fiona.
How do you introduce yourself?
Fiona Mwaka: Actress, Model, Writer, Singer, Dancer… “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one”. ~ William Shakespeare.
How was the transition from your childhood into adulthood/teenage and what good and bad things do you remember?
Fiona Mwaka: I am still very much on that journey, as I believe we all are in some way or another. I believe life is full of experiences that perhaps we initially interpret as good or bad, but really, they are all just lessons we can gain from. I allow my Spiritually, Faith in God and Gratitude mindset to guide me and help me to try and do better whenever I fall short or make mistakes. The growth is ongoing, and I pray it stays that way as I do want to keep learning throughout all aspects of my life.
Struggle – What hardships have you faced during your life?
Fiona Mwaka: Probably the same as everyone else! Life’s hardships transcend across nations, cultures, social and economic classes globally. Mostly, I think the commonality of our struggles can be surmised as perceived Loss, Grief, and Pain. I say perceived as the reality of hardships often aren’t as bad as our apprehensions, fears, and perceptions of whatever the situation at a given point in time.
What things people usually do not know about you?
Fiona Mwaka: I’m quite shy, nerdy, and introverted. I recently learned of the term an extrovert introvert and immediately I identified with it.
What make you unique from your competitors in the industry and life?
Fiona Mwaka: What competitors?? I am only competing with myself! There’s enough creative space for everyone to contribute. If anything, I am looking to collaborate with those who are established, on the rise or even just starting out. I want to work with, not compete against anyone.
What are your major upcoming events?
Fiona Mwaka: Everything!! I have diverse interests, and eclectic taste.
What are your diet preference and physical measurements?
Fiona Mwaka: I love food!! Let me say that again I LOVE FOOD. I like to cook it, eat it, and try out all kinds of different cuisines. I try to stay healthy by eating a balanced diet and staying active. Fish is my favourite but really, I’ll eat any food that tastes good.
What expert advice would you like to share?
Fiona Mwaka: Have Faith, in yourself and whatever higher power you believe in. Stay humble and kind and strong. Even good people sometimes need to tell certain people to just F*ck Off when necessary!
