Fii was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with her.
Fii As Exclusive Cover Story – June 2023
How do you introduce yourself?
Fii: Hi, my name is Fii and I’m a full time freelancer living and working in Seoul, South Korea. I’m a bit of a workaholic, and really enjoy trying new things, so have a lot of projects on the go at any one time.
Childhood to Adulthood – How was your transition from childhood to adulthood and what are the bad and good things you remember?
Fii: I’m very lucky that my transition from childhood to adulthood was very smooth. I didn’t really have a lot of major setbacks, just learning that it’s ok not to be everyone’s friend, and that financial responsibility is very important. I don’t really have any bad memories either, maybe the odd friendship fallout or exam not going the way I’d like, a couple of fights with my parents when I’d run off to London to attend concerts… I wouldn’t change anything though.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Fii: I think the most recent struggles I’ve had were m learning when to let someone go. I’m very lucky that I don’t have many struggles and a very supportive group of friends.
What do people usually not know about you?
Fii: I used to hate mint flavour toothpaste growing up, now mint chocolate is one of my favourite things.
What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?
Fii: I specialise in pronunciation correction in my main field of work, which is very useful for the students I teach. In life? I’m pretty tenacious and will see things through even to a (sometimes bitter) end. Very ‘dog with a bone’ attitude.
What are your upcoming major events – Unforgettable Moments or products/services that you want to promote/inform?
Fii: I don’t really have any currently that I think would warrant promotion as they’re all personal.
What are your food preferences and physical attributes?
Fii: I have a terrible sweet tooth.
Your love life, relationships and family?
Fii: Not Answered
What expert advice would you like to give?
Fii: Learning to sound like a native speaker of any language is less about learnings exactly how words sound, and more about learning where to drop or blend sounds. Also, always wear sunscreen.
