Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

I was an army wife for over a decade, living in multiple states across the nation while my ex-husband completed 6 combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. I worked in news stations in upstate NY and Georgia as a breaking news journalist and creative commercial writer and producer, marketing manager in North Carolina for a chemical plant among many other roles. I stayed active volunteering as head wife in multiple military stations, sending care packages to our single soldiers and writing the newsletters for the battalions.

What do people usually not know about you?

I was born in Madrid, Spain, Real Madrid is my team as a little girl and I got to host them at the FIFA Club World Cup at the Hard Rock Stadium last summer (announced the starting line-up, called the yellow card and red cards and even the GOAL) and pursued and accomplished everything I’ve ever wanted.. except being a horror film actress, my next move. I also did a summer seminar at Oxford University during my PhD in England and taught the works/books of C.S. Lewis.

I competed in 7 bikini bodybuilding shows (started during COVID) to help others out of isolation & depression, by posting my workouts online. I also live a very quiet life on an island with my husky puppy named Bruce (after Bruce Wayne – BATMAN)… he is my little knight. I love my 4 nieces & 1 nephew with all my heart.

What sets you apart from others?

My passion (as quoted by multiple organizations and important people)… I am not just a pretty face on camera…I dive deep into the stories of the people and the sport I am hosting, from golf to boxing, from fútbol to E1, and from padel to Jai-Alai, I understand the sport, the athletes, to tell the best story and highlight them perfectly.

What are your upcoming major events?

SOCCEREX TV host at NU Stadium in Miami, September 23-25 on their 30th year anniversary! World Jai-Alai League host and ESPN half-time show presenter for my 8th season, this Fall. Publishing my book “The Silent Life of an Army Wife” and doing a book tour to military bases around the world.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Don’t wait to be given permission to live your dream. I have worked alongside many people that have tried to keep me in a box and dim my light…I have always been a professional, working as either a news anchor for a television channel or a director of communications for top elected officials… and one thing will always remain, never try to be someone you are not because that is what is expected of you…. You are fun? Be fun! You are loud? Be loud! We are all perfectly and individually made in God’s eyes… and we are all unique in our own ways…EMBRACE IT.
