Delilah Harris was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with her.

How do you introduce yourself?

Delilah Harris: Introduce myself as Delilah Harris.

Childhood to Adulthood – How was your transition from childhood to adulthood and what are the
bad and good things you remember?

Delilah Harris: My childhood to adulthood was a very difficult transition. I grew up with abuse and neglect but learned overcoming through how I navigated the trauma from my experiences.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

Delilah Harris: I have experienced abuse in every corner of life: Abandoned by my father, neglected by my mother (because she was overworked clocking in 80+ hours every week, and dealing with systemic racism which I didn’t understand until I became an adult and experienced it as well), abused at church, bullied at school, betrayed and traumatized by multiple friends, and abused by my ex husband. It felt like I couldn’t escape sadness and pain, but I found a way to find encouragement in what I’ve endured and who I become through it all, putting my emotions into art and music and focusing on healing myself and helping others heal from past trauma as well. 

What do people usually not know about you?

Delilah Harris: Most people don’t know I was famous in Thailand for my YouTube singing covers when I was a teenager. I sang in Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Hmong, French, and Spanish, and some videos got over 60,000 views.

What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?

Delilah Harris: I believe my experience and spiritual gifts help me with my field. I am attuned in Reiki which is a practice that assists others in healing physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. I intertwine Reiki into some of my art peices and have had multiple tell me it has helped them heal and grow. I also have multiple services I provide to guide people into long term healing and create spiritual products in tangent with the services to give to my clients. My business is centered on God and that sets me apart as well.

What are your upcoming major events – Unforgettable Moments or products/services that you want to promote/inform?

Delilah Harris: Currently I am rebranding my website Blessedalchemy.com and will be hosting a Christian focused meditation weekly event and Art therapy events. I also make beats, do songwriting and have new songs I will be releasing later this year. I have 2 podcasts called “The Black Empath” which focuses on current events or things that have happened that affect our black hearts and black history, and “Christian Candor” which tackles uncomfortable questions and topics as a person transitioning away from new age Spirituality and back to Christianity. 

What are your food preferences and body measurements?

Delilah Harris: I love Korean and French food. Citrus like lemon, and butter together as a sauce is a favorite.. and sea food.

Delilah Harris: Not Answered.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Delilah Harris: My advice is stand up for what you believe in, love yourself, and be comfortable being alone, and fight for yourself. If you don’t fight for yourself, who will?
