How do you introduce yourself?
Hi I am Davina Guzman, but for short my nickname is Davi. I am a wife and mother of four beautiful children. River Manix who is 11, Draxx Tatum 8, Luxx Jagger 6 and of course our princess Lake Jace who is 3! My husband is a former wrestler and now a WWE Referee. And in our family we are all about WWE. World Wrestling Entertainment. My son and husband are actors. I am a singer songwriter and actress. And my son Draxx, has high functioning Autism. With my husband’s job that can take him away for an extended period of time, and the demands of being mom/manager, we always have something going on we always make it work.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Losing my baby boy at 20 weeks (stillborn) during COVID was a really hard time, but nothing prepared me for losing my baby brother. He died at just 28 from pneumonia. Being from a close family of 5 siblings, it was really hard to lose him. I am the eldest of 5. One sister and 3 brothers. Losing my brother….It really put me into depression. Luckily, my husband was there to pull me out and lift me to continue. He really is my best friend and he’s a great partner that I enjoy navigating through life with.
What do people usually not know about you?
I’m a very sensitive person. I come off very strong and put together, but under that layer is a very sensitive, caring , and loving person.
What sets you apart from others?
I think my personality. I like to make people laugh and take care of others before myself. Everyone else always comes first. My husband, my children, and all of my family. I’m really big on family. I make it priority to call or text all my siblings, nieces, nephews, and parents everyday. Taking care of the people that I love, fills my heart especially after experiencing such a major loss.
What are your upcoming major events?
Gearing up for my son’s movie premiere that was filmed last July. WWE events like WWE SUMMERSLAM, which is always fun! Summer time with my kids. I’m also a huge Disney fan, so Disneyland trips are always in order. And continuing to manage my son’s young and promising career.
What expert advice would you like to give?
I’m not sure if anyone is ever really an “expert” but, I do know that taking life for granted is not an option. Live your best life. Enjoy everything life has to offer. Be positive instead of negative. Don’t let people form an opinion or make an assumption about you , before they get to know you. Show them who you are. That way they have nothing to judge. Because you already showed your authentic self.
