CROSSLEY As Cover Story – November 2023 Edition
Introduction
Hey, I’m CROSSLEY
Childhood to Adulthood transition
Childhood and growing up as a little tough at times. I always say I fully ‘grew up’ and became myself when I moved to London at 18.
Struggles
Everyone has their struggles, some more than others. I’d say I’ve dealt with past trauma through my music and I’m very blessed to have that as my therapy.
Unknown Facts
I have triplet little sisters and they are the loves of my life.
Uniqueness
When you have your own artistry, especially when you write your own songs as I do. It’s very difficult to replicate. Of course there are other people trying to do what I do, but as they are individuals and so am I.
Upcoming Events
I’ve just released a brand new track called ‘Like I’m Rich’ which is the start of a new independent journey. I’m finally just making music that I love and putting it out. It’s the most freeing feeling.
Food & Fitness
I grew up such a picky eater. But as I’ve grown up I love everything! If I was to eat a cuisine for the rest of my life it would be pan-Asian for sure.
Love, Family & Relationships
Right now love life is kinda non existent, I’m having fun. I’m a gay man living in the world’s best city, mid twenty’s and just trying to have a good time, and write music about it.
Expert Advice
I would say I’m far from an expert but if I was to give any advice to anyone especially in my field, it’s to not stop worrying and dedicating every piece of your being to numbers and statistics around your music. It’s so easy to lose the enjoyment and love for it. Make sure you do it for the right reasons and things will fall into place, no rush!
