Bianca De La Garza As Cover Story Interview – May 2026 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

Are we meeting in person? For that a simple ‘Hi I’m Bianca’.  If it is a television screen at noon eastern everyday on Newsmax it’s ‘Welcome to Bianca Across the Nation I’m Bianca de la Garza’.   I wear a few hats as I am also a proud mom and most recently became an ACE certified health coach. Want to hit the gym with me? Let’s go!

My quick bio is 30 years in media, 10x Emmy nominations and at 50 years il dI’m blessed to cover the biggest breaking news stories around the world daily and share my wellness and longevity protocols with my incredible audience. Pinch me. Above all, and most important, I am woman of deep Christian faith. Everything I do flows from that.

Struggle — What hardships have you gone through in life?

I’d like to swap the word “hardships” out in my response because so many people in this world are suffering — as I cover every day wars, tragedy, and disasters.  What I have endured is more accurately described as challenges, and I thank God for them, because they built me into who I am today and serve as a testimony to others.

I’m grateful for my upbringing. My glamorous single mom who was a fligh attendant could not alway be home. I was very independent and understood the value of a dollar. I remember at 14 working two jobs. This work ethic I still flex hard today and will never lose.

In my 30s, after the birth of my daughter, I lost a second child to a miscarriage. My marriage didn’t survive, and at 34 I was a single mom. My career success was hard-earned, and now I was a working mom with few options for local family support to lean on. Picking up my life and navigating each day, I drew closer to God. My faith got me through many stormy seasons. Pray works and when people see me today truly in a role that I have always dreamed of to be the voice for the voiceless I hope they see only God can this.  Working at the incredible network Newsmax where we tell stories of faith and the evidence of revival means so much to me.

What do people usually not know about you?

People see the polished version on camera and assume that’s the whole picture. What they don’t always see is how much of my life is built on quiet routines — early mornings in prayer, disciplined time in the gym, and a non-negotiable commitment to my daughter that comes before everything else. At 20 years old she is the coolest person I know so I weave between a helicopter mom and a dose tough love depending on the day.  I’m also someone who prefers intimate gatherings than a big night out. The same woman interviewing newsmakers under bright studio lights is just as happy at home cooking dinner and spending time with my closest circle.  Family and friends are everything to me.

What sets you apart from others?

The combination of grit, faith, and authenticity. I’ve worked in this industry for decades and I’ve never been afraid to bet on myself — whether that meant building my own late night show, creating an organic skin care line to tell women they are beautiful inside , or on tv speaking truthfully on topics other networks won’t touch. I don’t perform a version of myself for the camera. Who you see on Bianca Across the Nation is who I am off-air too —it is a privilege and honor to be trusted for the news that matters.

What are your upcoming major events?

I’m super excited to speak to American this summer when Bianca Across the Nation literally hits the nation! Taking the show out of a studio and on the streets is something I’ve been looking forward to — meeting people where they are, hearing their stories firsthand, and bringing those voices back to a national audience. Stay tuned and again it’s 12- 2 every day EST so set your DVR if you must.

What expert advice would you like to give?

I believe a healthy body and mind pays dividends. Start with a small step be it a walk after dinner. Taking the stairs. I think the idea of not just living longer but living well is upon our generation. I encourage everyone to get moving and also to keep learning and reading. Knowledge is so vital to and we must not stop expanding our minds. Reading books not just news is such a wonderful way to evolve. Pair that with a daily conversation with GOD and a strong work ethic, and you’ll will see how your life elevates/
