Anita Kurkach As Cover Story Interview – July 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Anita Kurkach, Miss Petite Global’25 a Belarusian-born talent based in Tokyo. I’m an influencer, model, and singer, passionate about elegance, cultural connection, and empowering women through authenticity and grace.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
One of the biggest struggles I continue to stand against is the double standard placed on women. As a woman in the public eye, I’ve often been judged for being too bold, too soft, too ambitious all at once. Starting my life from scratch in a foreign country taught me resilience and independence, but it also exposed me to how much pressure women face to “fit in.” I use my voice and platform to speak up for women who are expected to be perfect, yet criticized when they stand in their truth. I believe we can be soft and strong, elegant and powerful – all on our own terms.
What do people usually not know about you?
I graduated in psychology, and I often use that knowledge to understand people deeply. Also, despite the glamorous image, I’ve done humanitarian work in orphanages in India and that shaped my soul far more than the spotlight ever could.
What sets you apart from others?
I represent the power of Slavic femininity soft yet unshakable. I combine luxury with meaning, style with purpose, and I always stay grounded in values, no matter how high the crown sits.
What are your upcoming major events?
This summer, I’ll be representing Miss Petite Global at international events, including a special fashion gala at the BVLGARI Hotel Tokyo. I’m also working on several brand collaborations and a future advocacy project supporting education for underprivileged children.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Stay rooted in who you are. The world may push you to change, but your authenticity is your true power. Work on yourself every day mentally, emotionally, physically and remember: a real queen never lowers her crown, she lifts others with it.
