Andrew Wahrlich was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with him.
How do you introduce yourself?
Andrew Wahrlich: My name is Andrew Wahrlich of AndyTrickShots on Tik Tok. I was born and still reside in my home town Albany, New York. I have always had a huge passion for creating seemingly impossible trick shots and sharing them with audiences around the world.
How was the transition from your childhood into adulthood/teenage and what good and bad things do you remember?
Andrew Wahrlich: I have always enjoyed being creative and increasing my hand eye coordination skills throughout my childhood. Anything from juggling to playing guitar, I just wanted to master my motor skills at an early age and learn as many different skills as possible.Being a musician since childhood, I found myself always having to choose time between sports and music in high school.
Once I got into college, my friends and I started the SUNY Oneonta Ultimate Frisbee team. This would ultimately prove to be very valuable in increasing my trick shot skill level and my love for introducing the frisbee into many of my trick shot videos.
Struggle – What hardships have you faced during your life?
Andrew Wahrlich: I have tried many different ways of getting noticed through social media and have struggled with finding my exact niche because of my vast love for so many different hobbies.
I have started a fishing YouTube channel called “518 Fishing” I have a verified music YouTube channel under the name “Rezon8”, but it wasn’t until I created AndyTrickShots on Tik Tok that I saw my true calling and saw many of my videos go mega viral!!
What things people usually do not know about you?
Andrew Wahrlich: I am almost completely blind in one eye but it doesn’t seem to affect my accuracy.
What are your major upcoming events?
Andrew Wahrlich: Patience and persistence are the most important aspect of creating a successful trick shot. Some trick shots can take thousands of attempts and many days of filming before I get the desired result. I have found that the longer it takes to succeed, the greater the satisfaction in the end.
What make you unique from others?
Andrew Wahrlich: While trick shots are my niche, I try to change up the style of each trick shot so that it keeps things interesting and my audience wanting to see what I will try next.
What expert advice would you like to share?
Andrew Wahrlich: As a content creator, it is very important to focus on how the video or trick shot will be perceived and experienced from the perspective of the audience. It doesn’t always have to be the most difficult trick shot in the world if its engaging and entertaining to watch from the angle of the observer.
