Nicole Santoro As Cover Story Interview – October 2026 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

I’m Nicole Santoro, a singer and songwriter from Yardley, Pennsylvania. I was born with music in my heart and soul. I started piano lessons at 7 years old and singing lessons at 10 years old. I always had the dream to sing and perform on stage and I began writing my own songs at age 19 as a way to express what I witnessed in the world and all the problems it seemed to have. I’ve since written over 50 songs, released an EP and 3 new singles this year, and I’m constantly writing and creating new music and performing locally.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

So many. From dealing with depression as a teen, to eating disorders, to drug use, to recovery from all of those things, to a life threatening car crash, my life has been a constant challenge. But no matter what happens I always find a way to make something beautiful out of it, and that’s the strength that carries me through all of life’s ups and downs.

What do people usually not know about you?

People don’t usually know about the hardships I’ve been through. I want to make people feel better about whatever they’re going through, and know that they can come out of the other side of it and still be okay.

What sets you apart from others?

I think it’s my motivation behind what I do. My art comes from such a deep place, because I’ve had the courage to explore the depths of myself, my psyche, my soul and my connection to Source, or as some people call it, God. To me, my music is my mission for being on Earth, as a way to spread love, light, hope and truth to the world and to awaken the consciousness of humanity so that we can ascend into a higher dimensional state of being as a collective.

What are your upcoming major events ?

I recently got selected to participate in iHeartRadio’s ‘Next Music Star’ competition where people can vote for me to have the chance to sing on stage to thousands of people in LA at Jingle Ball Village. It’s a huge opportunity for me to gain exposure so I hope that people will show up to vote for me!

What expert advice would you like to give?

I would say, have the courage to follow your dreams and passions. If you’re a singer/songwriter as well I would say find a good producer that you love working with, make music you love, and play the long game. Never give up!
