How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Breanna Dorsey and I am CEO of Twelve O Six Agency. I am a daughter a big sister and an aunt.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
From experiencing evictions in my childhood to having a parent deal with substance abuse my life has been a combination of overcoming hard times. I’ve dealt with emotional abuse in my past relationship and I’ve been let go of my job suddenly and without much explanation while Living all the way across the country. I’ve had to learn to maintain through betrayal in friendships and trust God when things didn’t seem
Clear. The hard times I faced in life only built my character and made me more assured of who I am and what I have to give to the world.
What do people usually not know about you?
People don’t know that I actually can be a bit shy at times. If I’m in an unfamiliar environment it can take me a minute to warm up, although my personality is super outgoing for the most part!
What sets you apart from others?
I think that main thing that set me apart from others is my drive and my ability to adequately share my thoughts and opinions. In today’s society, women are encouraged to silence themselves and settle for ordinary and I don’t buy into that. My drive to accomplish my dreams and standup for myself and others has made me who I am today.
What are your upcoming major events ?
BET Awards will be a major event that I’m super proud to work at for the second year in a row!
What expert advice would you like to give?
Keep going! No matter the obstacles, negative voices or challenges that come your way find a way to continue onward! Life doesn’t stop for any of us and none of us know how much time we have life, find your passion and pursue the life you want TODAY!
