How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Sophia, from England, an author of 11 books, many having hit the Amazons Bestseller list. I also write guidebooks showcasing the best places to visit, the latest being a Dubai guidebook called Make Memories: Dubai.
What hardships have you gone through in life?
Staying motivated and suffering from writers block, which can last months, isn’t easy, especially when you need to get tasks done. Personal hardships have included betrays, heartbreak, things we all have to go through, but staying strong, and realising everything happens for a reason, will help you get through up. I believe we end up where we’re meant to be.
What do people usually not know about you?
I think many people underestimate the time and effort that goes into writing books. Some days I can be on the laptop morning until night, but writing is my biggest passion, as well as reading.
What sets you apart from others?
I believe my creativity and ideas will never be the same as anothers. I get inspiration from experiences, things I see, or hear. No authors writing style, ideas, stories, will be the same.
What are your upcoming major events?
I have some book signings lined up, and have done signings in many place in the UK, Spain and Dubai so far.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Follow your dreams and never give up. Nothing worth having comes easy, but if it brings you joy, at least, that’s all that matters.
