Ana Alejo (Model) was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and here is the Q&A session we had with Ana.
Ana Alejo As Cover Story Interview – March 2026 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Ana Alejo, a 1.52m model redefining presence in the fashion industry. I work in runway and editorial, and my career is focused on proving that a model’s strength is not measured in centimeters, but in attitude, discipline, and confidence.
My motto is clear:
It’s not height. It’s presence. I’m not here to fit into the standard. I’m here to elevate it.
Struggle – What difficulties have you faced in your life?
The biggest challenge has been building a professional career in an industry where height standards are very rigid. From the beginning, I was told I wasn’t “tall enough.”
Instead of seeing that as a limitation, I decided to turn it into my differentiation. Every casting, every runway, and every opportunity I’ve earned has been the result of extreme preparation, consistency, and a strong mindset. My struggle has never been against the industry itself, but against the idea that standards cannot evolve.
What is something people usually don’t know about you?
People often see the confidence on the runway, but they don’t see the mental work behind it. I invest heavily in discipline — posture, expression, physical training, communication. Presence isn’t something you simply have; it’s something you build every single day.
I’m also very strategic about my career. Every step I take is intentional and aligned with long-term growth.
What makes you different from others?
My height might seem like the obvious answer, but what truly sets me apart is my mindset. I don’t position myself as an exception because I’m petite. I position myself as a reference because of my presence.
I’ve learned how to command space without relying on centimeters — and that shifts the narrative. I’m not trying to prove that I can do it “despite” my height. I do it because I’m prepared.
What are your upcoming major events?
I am currently continuing to expand my runway and editorial career while entering new markets and collaborating with professionals who embrace a modern vision of fashion. My focus is on growing internationally and building a solid trajectory that represents evolution within the industry.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Don’t build your career trying to fit into a standard.
- Build presence.
- Build discipline.
- Build mindset.
The industry evolves when individuals stop asking for permission to exist within it. And most importantly:
It’s not height. It’s presence.
