Introduction
My name is Funmi Ge. I am an inspirational singer and songwriter. Music is not just what I do—it is part of who I am and how I express my faith, my journey, and my purpose.
The Journey
Being a singer and songwriter has been a real process for me. I don’t have funding or management yet, so I’ve had to do most things myself. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has taught me strength, discipline, and belief in my calling.
More Than Music
Many people don’t know this about me, but I’m actually very funny. I love joking around and bringing joy into spaces. Music is deep and spiritual for me, but laughter is also part of who I am.
My Heart & Identity
I am spiritually driven and intentional about being my true, unique self. I don’t follow the masses—I follow purpose. I believe in walking my own path and trusting God through every step.
What’s Ahead
I have exciting things coming up, including Afo Fest on 31 January and Music Elevation 2026, an event I am organizing with my team, scheduled for February 2026 (date to be confirmed).
My Advice
To anyone getting into the music industry: ask for help, never be shy, and never allow anyone to discourage you. Your journey is valid, and your voice matters.
