How do you introduce yourself?
I introduce myself as Missy Lee.
What hardships did you face in your life?
My struggles would be I struggled with abandonment. As a child I thought of death as abandonment so when my grandparents passed, I felt pretty much alone I had parents, but I have young parents and they both were just doing their own thing so that contribute to abandonment issues.
What’s something people usually don’t know about you?
I’m a real tomboy, like I like being outside I don’t mind getting dirty in the yard with the animals on the farm etc. I like to tussle or rough house (as we would say it when I was younger lol).
What sets you apart from others?
I’m never afraid of a no, the tough conversations or to ask questions (never know until you try) I can take a no and be OK with it because I’m gonna find a way to turn it into a yes, a positive or a lesson.
What are your upcoming events?
My daughter is graduating so I’ll be headed to graduation soon. She’s graduating with honors On her 21st birthday from an HBCU. North Carolina AT&T and also that I will be joining a cast of a television series in 2026.
What would be your expert advice?
Stay teachable, do what makes you happy because time goes by so fast. Embody your identity you want for yourself before it becomes your reality.
