How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Keisha Curtis. Funny thing is my government spelling is KESIAH. can’t stand it when people mispronounce it although I get it.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
In 2019 I found out I had cervical cancer right when I was about to get weight loss surgery. I had to get a hysterectomy to cure my cancer first, then got the weight loss surgery and lost 100 pounds. My cancer came back so I lost an ADDITIONAL hundred pounds. but through all my treatments, blood sweat and tears I’m in remission thank God! I’m still here.
What do people usually not know about you?
I’m an amazing cook, believe it or not. I do and design my own nails. I’m also a writer and I produced two of my own short films.
What sets you apart from others?
A very creative. I absolutely love to create. I may not look like it, but I write sci-fi/paranormal films because I am so fascinated with twist the unknown if I take interest in any task, I will be so obsessed with it until I get it right
What are your upcoming major events ?
I’m in the middle of filming my first feature length film, and I’m traveling to Europe for the first time this summer.
What expert advice would you like to give?
As you are climbing that mountain to success, do not look down. Tune out the noise of envy around you. Understand you can’t take everyone with you. You’ll be surprised at those were actually afraid of heights.
