How do you introduce yourself?
Tony Aguilar. Author of Is America Broken or Has It Always Been This Way?
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
The biggest hardship was losing my wife to cancer.
What do people usually not know about you?
I am shy and an introvert. They also may not be aware of my work in developing affordable housing. Economic development as well as environmental cleanup.
What sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from many people is my willingness and love of writing about political topics as well as a curiosity and interest in politics as well as the culture of other communities.
What are your upcoming major events?
I will be re-starting my podcast The Aguilar Conversations: A Global Perspective in 2026. The podcast features interviews with experts about international affairs. I am also working on my next book which is entitled How do you know God spoke to you?
What expert advice would you like to give?
Be open to changing your opinion about a subject or a person.
