Nadia Neubert As Cover Story Interview – November 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
Nadia Neubert
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Life can be a struggle for many. I am no different. I migrated to the USA from Trinidad and Tobago in 1994 and had to adjust to living in another country at a very young age. Tied to many financial struggles and many relocations, working very hard several jobs while paying my way through college was not an easy task but one that I embrace as I worked very hard to become the woman that I am today. One of the most traumatic experiences in my life, was the death of my first born son Arjun in 2010. Arjun was born with medical conditions that required surgical procedures to repair which was unsuccessful and he passed away 15 days after his birth. To date, I live with the memory of him dying in my arms watching his little body slip away in silence. I am a huge advocate for mothers who have lost children and how we find our way back to a path of peace.
What do people usually not know about you?
That I am born and raised in the Caribbean but of East Indian ethnicity. I am also trained in an Indian Classical dance called Odissi.
What sets you apart from others?
My passion, perseverance and discipline in working hard to achieve my goals.
What are your upcoming major events ?
Working with Celebrity International Designer Prashant Goyal in NYC as his Creative Director and Model Coordinator for his NYFW shows in 2026.
What expert advice would you like to give?
For aspiring models, I would say do your research and invest in your skill set. Often people think the modeling industry is easy. But if you do not put work into your own skills and become a good model, brands will not notice you. It is also very motivating to have people in the industry that inspire you but do not be a copy. Do not copy other models and try to pass it off as your own, the model industry has transparency and you do not want to be seen as a copy cat – be original.
