Anna Tkachenko As Cover Story Interview – October 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
I’m a family influencer — a loving mom, wife, and daughter for whom family is the heart of everything. A year ago, I started sharing my life on Instagram, and since then my community has grown to over 132,000 followers. For me, that number means more than reach, it represents a community of people who value love, authenticity, and conscious parenting. I’m originally from Ukraine, married to a Frenchman, and together we’re raising two wonderful children in France. I graduated from a Flight Academy as an air traffic controller, but I never worked in the field, instead, I found my true calling when I started creating content that connects and inspires. I discovered that the simplest, most genuine things — love, respect, traditions, and everyday family moments — resonate with people all over the world. My blog is not only about our family but also about harmony, self-acceptance, and creating warmth wherever you are.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Life has tested me in many ways. Ten years ago, I got pregnant, it was a long-awaited baby, and at that time my husband and I were preparing for our wedding. We were overjoyed, but that happiness didn’t last long. I was diagnosed with a molar pregnancy, had to undergo surgery, and sadly lost the baby. A month later, doctors found a tumor in my uterus. What followed was a year of chemotherapy, hospitals, and countless days of pain and fear. It was the hardest period of my life, but it taught me to appreciate every single day and the power of love and hope. The second big challenge came when the war began in Ukraine. At that time, we were living there, and all my loved ones remained in the country. Six months after the war started, my mother, the most important person in my life, passed away. It broke me completely. What helped me heal were my daughters. They became my light and my purpose. My second daughter was born just four months ago, on my mother’s birthday. And, as if life itself wanted to send me a sign, she was born right in our car, before we could reach the hospital. I believe that was no coincidence! it was a reminder that love and life always find a way to triumph.
What do people usually not know about you?
Most people don’t know that behind my smile and family content stands a woman who has been through some very difficult times. I’ve experienced the loss of a baby, a long medical treatment, the passing of my mother, and the war in my homeland. But I choose to share light… not because my life has been easy, but because I’ve learned how to find light even in the darkest moments. Many see my blog as just about family and cozy daily life. But for me, it’s about strength, faith, and gratitude. I believe true beauty lies in being kind when life gives you reasons to be bitter, and in being able to love, even when your heart has been broken.
What sets you apart from others?
Honestly, I don’t really see myself as “different.” I believe that deep down, we are all the same — people who want to love, to be understood, and to make the ones we care about happy. It doesn’t matter what nationality you are, what color your skin is, or what language you speak — we all share the same emotions, hopes, and dreams. If there is something that sets me apart, it’s probably authenticity. I don’t try to look perfect. My blog reflects real life: the joys, the tears, the tired moments, and the love that ties it all together. I simply share my world as it is, and I think that’s what truly connects me with people.
What are your upcoming major events?
In the near future, we’re planning a trip to Ukraine. It’s something very emotional and meaningful for me: I want to baptize our youngest daughter, visit my mother’s grave, and spend time with my loved ones. I’m especially looking forward to seeing my twin brothers, who are currently serving in the army. I worry about them deeply and can’t wait to finally hug them. After that, I’d love to take a little family getaway, somewhere warm, by the sea or the ocean. Just a place to rest, recharge, and enjoy simple moments together. I dream of a few days in the sun, “all inclusive,” where I can recover after giving birth and come back with fresh energy and inspiration for new projects.
What expert advice would you like to give?
The most important thing is don’t be afraid to start. Don’t wait for the “perfect moment,” don’t think others are better, and don’t doubt yourself, everything begins with one brave step. And just as important: don’t be afraid of judgment. There will always be people who won’t like you, and that’s okay. As I like to say: “You’re not a dollar bill — you can’t please everyone.” What truly matters is to be yourself, to stay authentic, and to do things from the heart. People can feel when something is real and that’s what builds true connection and success. Not perfection, but sincerity.
