How do you introduce yourself?
Hi, my name is Heidi Gomez.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
It’s been difficult to navigate career and motherhood. Specifically, finding the right balance between being a successful career woman and a hands on mother.
What do people usually not know about you?
I think sometimes people are surprised at how spontaneous I can be. While I consider myself level headed and grounded, I do love and appreciate adventure.
What sets you apart from others?
I am a chameleon in everything that I do. I am a former journalist that loves provocative topics but I also love fashion and adventure. I am a proud mom but I defy the stereotypes of what a “typical” mom should be. In short, I am not afraid to be different and I value authenticity over everything.
What are your upcoming major events?
I am excited to participate as an influencer co-host for “Modern Day Wife”. I am looking forward to the Miami Swim Week events.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Stay true to who you are and never lose sight of your goals and aspirations. Movement is progress even if it’s not at the pace you wish.
