How do you introduce yourself?
I am a Mom first, to my teenage son. Professionally, I am a multifaceted serial entrepreneur. Primarily, I am duly Licensed NYS as a Nail Boutique owner / operator, of The Party Nail, LLC situated in Mount Vernon NY. as well as a Licensed NYS realtor, specializing in apartment leasing. Additionally, I am a Licensed NYS Educator in Nail Specialty, a civil service worker, a for-hire brand consultant/model/actress/event hostess and a variety of other certifications & facets sprinkled in between.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I have had to bear the loss of my father as a child, then the loss of my mother more recently as an adult. My original nail business location, suffered a fire, only months after losing my mother. Overall, I was in a very dark place emotionally but I have managed to recuperate my nail business, in a new location. Pushing myself, in the comfort of knowing that my parents are spiritually guiding me always.
What do people usually not know about you?
People are usually surprised to learn that I am a published author. And yes… I do my own nails.
What sets you apart from others?
I am down-to-earth and approachable. I have a very even-keeled demeanor. I avoid confrontation and negativity at all costs. I prefer to focus on the positive, ever-approaching life with a ‘glass half-full’ outlook.
What are your upcoming major events?
I am in the midst of writing the 2nd installation of my memoir and will be celebrating the 5th anniversary of my nail business.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Do your research, follow your instinct, and always be good to your people.
