How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Shiree Nichole, an entrepreneur and artist of Shiree Nichole Art and Designer Finishes.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Losing my parents and husband unexpectedly over the last three years has hit me hard. I am currently learning a new and more gentle path forward. I am also a mom with an Autistic son, which requires daily effort and is continuing to teach me patience and other character building qualities. Despite grieving, sadness and challenges, I truly strive to be happy, see the beauty in my life, nature and people. I find peace in creating art and joy it brings others.
What do people usually not know about you?
I am an introverted extrovert. I love going to movies by myself and eating out alone. I love reptiles and really all animals, but I have a fear of moths.
What sets you apart from others?
I have never thought I couldn’t do anything I set my mind to. I am the first born daughter of four girls. My father was such a light! He always made us girls feel we could accomplish anything, it was just figuring out if you wanted to do it, and how. I truly love this business. I have the opportunity to constantly be creating new works and coaching other artists brings great joy and satisfaction. I love creating for each client, it’s important to me, and I feel that reflects in my work. I always want to keep learning and there is always something new to learn.
What are your upcoming major events?
I co-host “The Emerging Artist Podcast,” with Scott Markowitz of Reinvent Studio and we have two episodes with author, business and life coach, Andrea Liebross to be published soon. The next podcast release is with local Naples, FL author James Zwerneman, and the exciting release of his novel “Uruk,” this coming November 2025.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Invest in yourself. Take care of your mental, emotional and physical health. Journal. Watch sunrises, sunsets and “stop and smell the flowers,” read books that have paper pages. Invest in your family, friends and cultivate genuine business relationships.
